Hard Rock Fishermans Wharf Still Great - It is almost 14 years since I was last here and it is still a great place. There is a wide choice of food. The food is excellent and good value and the service spot on. We went in an evening and still had to wait for seating. There was good crowd in and a few birthdays being celebrated. If you want to spend time exploring Fishermans Wharf, then this is well worth exploring whilst you rest and refuel.

Good place - Very nice place and well set. The ribs and nachos we ordered were very good, but a little expensive for the amount they bring

Good location for a lunch at Pier 39 - After returning from Alcatraz tour we passed by Pier 39 relatively late at noon and there near the entrance to the Hard Rock Cafe. The restaurant was not full, the service friendly and fast. The food was fine, the portions great. The atmosphere typical Hard Rock Cafe, a large shop with the typical devotional items right next to the restaurant. Large area for the bar with wide selection.

Great experience - We had a great experience in this unit. It was pretty full, but the wait was short. The environment is pleasant and well located. The service was quick, agile and friendly. The dishes are delicious!!! The drink a delight!!! The price is average👍🏻

Good value but slow service - For the marquee location at the entrance to Pier 39 the prices are very reasonable and a meal for 3 came to roughly $100 including one round of drinks. However, we arrived when the location was quite empty and we found the service very slow compared to other Hard Rock locations I have visited. Once we were finally seen to the food did not take long however it felt like the waiting staff were under-resourced and had too much to do each.

Nothing special ... hard rock cafe ‘a little undertone! - Compared to many other Hard Rock Cafes visited in different cities I found this place a bit ‘cold’, unwelcoming. You could not breathe, as in the other clubs, the atmosphere that makes these places unique. Cold lights, simple tables arranged away from each other, few paintings and ‘memorabilia’ on the walls, total absence of music. The waiter took a long time to collect orders (although there were 4). The sandwiches are, however, excellent! especially those with the typical local sauce. Very good and ''healthy' salad with grilled chicken. Medium/high prices (especially drinks and cocktails). Maybe, going back to the area, I would opt for a typical place with crabs and shrimp rather than a hamburger here...

Table assigner completely overwhelmed - We hadn't made a reservation, there were at least 10 tables free that weren't reserved either. We could only sit at the bar to eat. The lady with long braids just couldn't manage to check whether there were any tables free. She said it would take about 40 minutes until she had a free table. Then she saw us sitting at the bar and just grinned. The bartender was very nice. The burger was okay, a bit overpriced. The fries were great.

Do not accommodated disabled people - Do not accommodate disabled people. Told to move from low seat to sit at high seat at bar.. We went in for a drink told to go on in. No one said you have to go to the bar. We found an empty table, immediately waitress was angry asked who told you to sit there. She went to front counter yelled at girls in Spanish pointed at us. One girl from front came and said you have to move, I asked where to she said high bar stools. I walk with a cane have movement issues, so explained I am unable to sit on a high stool. “Have a nice day then” we were dismissed. I said okay then we will go elsewhere, “Have a nice day”. Extreme sarcasm is the only was to describe her look and dismissal. I stopped at front counter and said you need to be clear with your instructions again Have a nice day, which quite frankly irked me, asked for the manager, who came told her what happened but by this time the sarcastic Have a nice days had done their job. Never will darken this chains doorway again.

Big disappointment HRC SFO - We have been to many HRCs on this planet, but the one in SFO was by far the worst. The food wasn't even HRC standard and to be honest the music in the HRC was awful and that's putting it kindly, there was no music video like you're used to. The spare ribs were cold after 5 minutes and the coleslow wasn't great either. My wife's burger was also below average. Unfortunately there is absolutely nothing positive to say about the whole of the HRC SFO
