The stories of Italian food in S.F. - Brian is a fantastic tour guide. He was welcoming to everyone on the tour and very personable. He regaled the party with many stories of the music and cultural past of the North Beach neighborhood. Plus he was very well connected to the business owners and gave us a variety of food and goods to see and try. Kudos to him and I'd recommend this tour to anyone.

Little Italy - It was a great adventure for me and my mom. We were able to walk everywhere without a car in Little Italy. I highly recommend this for 2-3 day trips.

Excellent tour and guide. - Our tour guide, Ryan Curtis, was excellent, a virtual storehouse of information about the neighborhood and all of San Francisco. We learned a lot of “inside stories” and had a great tour. We highly recommend this tour and guide.

GREAT!!! - Fantastic! The food was delicious! There was a wide variety to samplings from cannoli to fettuccine alfredo. Scott was our tour guide and full of history and knowledge about San Francisco. Our group ranged from 9-75 and everyone had a great time and finished the tour stuffed!

A must do tour - We had Ryan as our guide, and we cannot recommend him highly enough. He was so incredibly knowledgeable as he gave us the history of San Francisco and all the little tidbits that no one knows about he did so with humor. Another review said “come hungry“ that is not an understatement. The food was delicious along with the history of all the places that we stopped, and where the food originated from. Next time we come to San Francisco we’ll be doing another one of these tours.

Food tour was fun and educational!! - Tour had an excellent variety of delicious food tastings from multiple restaurants. The tour guide introduced us to San Francisco's Little Italy and North Beach with interesting history information. Also, tour guide pointed us in the direction of Coit Tower which we visited after the tour. I have been duplicating my food tour of San Francisco in my home kitchen ever since.

Mangia Italiano in North Beach with Brian. - We were so lucky to have Brian as our tour guide on this comprehensive walking food tour of North Beach in SF. Firstly, we were the only folks in the group, and Brian was more than willing to add a few extra stops and colorful commentary along the way. So a planned 2 1/2 hour tour turned into 4 hours of history peppered with great conversation and unbelievable food. It’s hard to say which bite we loved most, but the Grilled Chicken sandwich #2 (on amazing focaccia from Liguria Bakery) at Mario’s Bohemian Cigar and Cafe was just incredible. It was one of the best things I ever ate. And that’s saying a lot considering just that day’s samplings; the cannoli from Stella’s, the sandwich from Molinari’s deli, the Peanut Butter Pie fudge from Z Cioccolate and the Margherita Pizza at Mona Lisa 3. Good thing we walked a lot! This tour was certainly worth the price of admission Shout out to Brian and his love of baseball too. That was right up Ralph’s Alley!
