Nice day out - Lovely places visited during this trip. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and gave us lots of information and tips for eating out, etc. Pebble beach not as interesting for us, probably because we are not into golf. I would have spent that extra time in Carmel instead. Overall a nice tour

Spectacular Sites - Perfect day! My family and I enjoyed every minute of this tour, thanks in great part to our guide and driver, Danillo. The interesting information he shared about the region's history and development enhanced our visit, and his great sense of humor resulted in smiles and laughs throughout the day. We enjoyed our time in Monterey greatly, and there was enough time for us to take beautiful photos, walk to many shops, and enjoy a delicious lunch. The scenic 17 mile drive was amazing, and our stop at Pebble Beach was very nice. Our final destination of the day, Carmel, provided us with the chance to stroll leisurely around the neighborhood of many shops and take in the sites. Highly recommend this all-day tour.

Day trip south of San Francisco - A comfortable coach to ride to Monterey, Pebble Beach and Caramel. Also Stops along the way to check out the coast line. Great narration by our guide with numerous historical and current facts. I would wish a little longer stop at Monterey to have time in the aquarium but ticket purchases were open and my grand daughter and I saw a lot in an hour and a half and still got lunch in town. Pebble Beach and Caramel give a shopping glimpse of the local lifestyles. It’s a long 12-13 hour day but covers a lot of sights.

Best 12 hours spent! - Our tour guide Dinelo made the trip! Beautiful scenery along the way. It was a day well spent to take in what we would not have learned on our own!

Wonderful Monterey, Carmel & 17 Mile Drive - This was a wonderful day driving down the coast to Monterey, with a stop off for lunch there. Try The Italian Deli in the Main Street and go sit on the wharf to watch the sea life and bay. Onto 17 Mile Drive - fabulous scenery! Then finally a stop in the beautiful Carmel - by - the Sea, find Clint Eastwood’s Bar enjoy a lazy drink there. Great tour guide too! Thank you!

17 Mile drive from Monterey to Carmel - It was a long day but well worth it. The drive down highway 1 was beautiful (note: sit on the right side so you have the best view). Our driver Dinello was entertaining and informative.

The experience would have... - The experience would have been great except for our driver being lost several times he was arguing constantly with the tour guide (Joseph was great) multiple lights kept going on including the gas light which lead to Douglas the driver panicking and trying to find a gas station. Douglas the driver was constantly googling directions while driving which was scary! Some of his conversations were inappropriate which took away from the experience of these beautiful places

So disappointing - Our driver was apparently a substitute at the last minute. He claimed he used to do this tour a lot when he was younger. He was very interesting at first as we drove around the city and he told us about various landmarks. But it quickly became apparent that he said whatever popped into his head including comments about wrong turns, issues about not sure where he was going, and his concerns about traffic. This made for a very tense and unenjoyable ride. He made wrong turns several times, once he left a passenger behind and then blamed us for not telling him sooner even though he did a head count. He told us we could not use the bathroom on the bus which - having a bathroom on the bus was one reason I booked this tour. At one point we complained about it being too cold on the bus and he said there’s nothing he could do about it. We were supposed to have 2 hours at Monterey Bay and only had an hour and 15 minutes. We were supposed to have 3 stops at Pebble beach and we only had one. We spent a lot more time on the bus because he made wrong turns. At one point he pulled into a site seeing spot and couldn’t turn around so he had to back out onto a street which was nerve wracking and took forever. On the way to Monterey we were sitting on the side of the bus that didn’t face the ocean and we thought oh well on the way back will get to see it. On the way back he took a different route which wasn’t anywhere near the ocean and got stuck in many traffic jams. Once we cleared them he drove 75 mph to make up time which was very scary. I was going to contact the tour company with these complaints but couldn’t figure out how to do that so it’s all in the review.
