Great tour around town, major landmarks, and scenic views - We took this tour as a quick lookup and book sort of thing. The description was quite detailed, and we booked it without any hesitation. The pick up was at 8 sm so we benefited from our hotel location, just a few minuted from the pick up. As we located a mini bus, a driver Brandon greeted us with a smile, and that funny, easy-going spirit was throughout the tour. Brandon took us around town first and lively told us stories about Chinatown, Coit tower, Billionaire row, etc. Since the bus was small we had nice views of the city around. We made a quick stop at the Presidio park to stretch and take some photos. Then there was a quick stop by the Golden Gate bridge at the botom and then again at the top when we crossed it. Again, there was plenty of time for pictures and views. The weather was amazing with plenty of sun, so the views were spectacular. So check the weather before booking since there are lots of scenic views, and haze or fog with clouds would greatly diminish your experience. After about 20 minutes on a windy US 1, we arrived at Muir Woods and had an hour to enjoy picturesque hike amount gorgeous red woods. Last but not least, we spent about an hour in Sausalito when Spinnaker served us some delicious sea food and amazing views of the SF and Oakland skyline and marina. Dinner was not included, so prepare for some expenses when you go. Overall, this tour is great for lone travelers, friends, and families. Dress lightly in layers since the weather can be tricky and hiking is involved. The tour can be complemented with Alcatraz experience, which we did not go to - booked for the next day. We highly recommend the tour!

The area is beautiful but the tour guides makes it better - A very well organized tour with added personality from Brendan, our guide. In short, he was awesome and as we toured the streets of SF, he added the insight you would get from someone truly passionate about their work. From the customized tunes reflecting elements from the tour ( I left my heart in San Francisco), to stories about the areas we explored. Muir Woods was inspirational and Sausalito was a great waterfront stop for lunch - the Mexican place right near where we parked was excellent. This was a great tour done in a small group, never felt rushed and if we had time we would have done the Alcatraz add in. This was a 15 minute walk from pier 35 to meet up and the best part is when the tour was done, left us off right there. Kudos SF team and shout out to Brendan - well done!

I loved this Tour - I really loved this tour. Brendan, our tour guide, is a real local from San Francisco which showed with his vast knowledge about the city. Brendan was very entertaining and interesting. Also a point that I really liked, and it might sound silly, but the windows on the bus were very clean which was very good for taking pictures.

Brendan was brilliant. What a fantastic trip! - Brendan was an amazing tour guide and we had a brilliant time. Having grown up in San Francisco he had lots of funny and interesting anecdotes to share. I wouldn’t necessarily try to book through Trip Advisor as I think you could probably just look him up yourself. Everything we booked through them was much more expensive. They said our trip included Muir Woods yet we had to pay to get in! Anyway, Brendan was fabulous and I would recommend seeking him out. What a fantastic trip.

Don't miss going to Muir Woods - The tour director/driver was very good at his job. The 4 out of 5 rating wasn't his fault at all, we both would have liked to spend more time at Muir Woods. Maybe dropping the Alcatraz offering, only one couple had signed up for it, we could have spent more time in the park with a later lunch.
