One of the best tours I’ve done. - What a well organized and fun trip! Our guide, Lester, was funny and informative and he engaged each individual person. We were able to see all of the sites, learn about the area and stop at very interesting locations. The entire time, we were being accounted for and had no one arrive back to the bus late nor any late departures from one stop to the next. No stress. Just a day filled with beautiful nature, some funny jokes, and lots of education. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Don't cancel if it rains - I had my tour with Lester, who was fantastic. He made the most of the weather - it was, unfortunately, raining, but he made lots of fun jokes about it and had ponchos handy for those of us who were unprepared. Do not cancel your tour if it rains, trust me. It was majestic experiencing the redwood trees in the rain, with no crowds.

A peaceful day out from SF with a great tour operator - I went on a free day after a work trip so travelled alone but met a few other friendly solo travellers. Our driver Patrick gave us so much information and was friendly and funny. He really worked hard to give us the best time. The weather wasn't great but once we were in the woods it didn't matter. In fact it was very peaceful listening to the rain while walking sheltered under the tree tops. I got the ferry back from Sausalito which is a good add on. The only thing I would change would be to have an extra 30 mins in the woods. It was a little too short.

The trip is about 45 mins... - The trip is about 45 mins drive from SF. The walk in the park is about 1.5h with magestic nature. It cna get a bit chilly in the woods so layer up. On the way back you stop at Sausalito for 30 mins which has a beautiful boardwalk. I would consider doing the ferry back to grab lunch in this little quaint town.

Muir Woods and Ferrry - We went to Muir Woods, Sausalito and ferry back. The overall experience was exceptional. Muir Woods is amazing . The ferry as well. The only thing keeping me from a 5 star rating is that our tour bus driver talked constantly. He is a wonderful delightful person but he did not need to talk all the time. It became too much after awhile. He also asked us not to talk so as not to distract him as he spoke. We were a smalll group of 10 so we all were pretty quiet anyway. There were many times I just wanted silence from the driver so I could take in the views. Other than that everything was perfection!

lovely tour, James our... - lovely tour, James our driver was super kind. I just think 1:30 hours is just too short to make a stroll on the park, we had to rush all the time so we don't get left behind

Nice stroll for 60-90 minutes - Elegant, tall and thin Sequoia sempervirens trees very near San Francisco. You can go to Bridge 4 and return in an hour. Coffee shop with branded items for sale.
