Wonderful Adventure - My husband and I took this tour with Lisa as a guide. We had such a great time. Lisa was very knowledgeable and cared about all the participants. We were a group of 7 and enjoyed getting to know the others from different states and countries. Muir woods was spectacular. The beauty and peacefulness of these giant trees was amazing. The walking was the perfect amount for someone in their 60s. From there we went to Sonoma for a wonderful lunch and shopping. We especially enjoyed the little boutique stores. Our adventure continued to both wineries in Sonoma and Napa where we were able to sample wines and learn how the grapes are grown and the wine was made. After a brief stop to view the Golden Gate Bridge with the fog coming in we were returned to our hotel. Don’t miss this trip it is a great way to spend a day in San Francisco.

A walk in the woods - The trees in Muir Woods are amazing, the only problem is not enough time. The wineries were great with great scenery and friendly staff. The stop for lunch was just right with good choices and enough time for a relaxing lunch. Our guide, Dustin, did a great job with good commentary and some good music thrown in. Between the roads and the stiff suspension on the bus, the ride was a little rough. A very enjoyable day!

Well worth it. - This was a wonderful tour experience. We went to Muir Woods on the morning and 2 wineries in the afternoon, one in So Oma and one in Napa. Our first stop was the Golden Gate Bridge for picture taking. We had such a clear view. Muir Woods is breathtaking. Annie, our tour guide, was wonderful, giving us a history of the area and lots of fun facts. She knew her stuff and was a safe driver, especially on the winding roads. I would have preferred spending more time at Muir Woods and only going to one winery, but it was a wonderful tour.

Great trip to experience what is outside of San Francisco - Everything was good! The pick up was on time and Jay introduced us to others on the tour, so no awkwardness at all. He explained everything clearly; we chose to sit in the back and could hear everything. He checked that we were ok sitting there since there were some winding roads. Thoughtful! Jay took pictures for us, recommended paths to walk in Muir Woods, listed various restaurants for lunch, asked how we were enjoying the trip, and was very friendly. We went to two wineries; both had beautiful seating and views. One was certainly a favorite of the whole group. Rudy at Ru Vango was knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining. There was no push to buy, but we found some we really enjoyed so took some home. It was the right amount of time at each stop. The drop off afterwards was easy. A fun day and worth the price!

Day trip to Redwood forest and wineries. - Easy drive to Muir Woods with a stop near Golden Gate Bridge. Plenty of time to walk through Muir Woods before leaving for Sonoma Valley. Free time in Sonoma Square where there are many options for lunch/wine or a cold beer. 1 winery in Sonoma Valley then on to another in Napa Valley. Understandably the locals have a high opinion of wine from the region, but that may be a little overstated.
