California coastline tour - The coastline is beautiful and the small towns of Carmel and Monterey are exquisite. The tour guide was knowledgeable and funny.

Danilo, our very engaging guide/driver deserves more than a 5-star rating. - Our day-long tour is a breeze and very enjoyable with Danilo. He was very engaging as we go along the route and he drives like a pro; safely and smoothly. I would definitely recommend this tour to my friends and hopefully they will have Danilo as their guide/driver

Beautiful sights - This was a beautiful and relaxing trip. Based on the itinerary, we should have had 3 hours in Monterey but were only given 2.5 hours but our tour guide gave us a few extra stops and photo ops with that extra time. We went to the Aquarium and managed to see the highlights. Very nice day!

A very satisfying experience - Our guide, Thomas, was very good. He was extremely knowledgeable, and had a nice manner of delivering information. Unlike some guides we have had, he did not talk constantly. He timed his delivery of information very, very well.

Is the bus working? - our driver/ host was very knowledgable and nice; this issue was not his fault. Consider reading all reviews before booking. A reviewer stated a few weeks before our tour the bus was having AC issues. We had no AC for most of the the tour, it was a very, very, very hot ride and they should have called for another bus or mechanic. I just wanted to get back.

A long day on a totally unsuitable vehicle - The destination was excellent, however the bus used was not at all suitable for a 12 hour day trip. Several of the overhead air vents were broken and stuffed up with paper which made it impossible to adjust the individual temperature. The seats offered no storage other than placing items in the overhead bin, which meant smaller items had to be held at all times. Finally when we returned to the bus after Carmel stop the stench from the chemical toilet in the bus was atrocious and caused my wife and others sat nearby to gag. It only cleared once the bus was moving and some airflow returned. There is also an issue with how the seats are sold. This trip had 8 single seat passengers on a full bus all of whom sat alone forcing any late boarding couples to split up and sit with strangers - not ideal for a 12 hour trip! The driver tried to offer information, but sadly the level of irrelevant drivel regarding his ‘acting’ career and favourite movies made it hard to select the interesting facts Finally the choice of stops was strange, particularly the morning coffee stop. The outlet was so small that those of us sat near the back of the bus had no time to purchase anything in the time provided due to the amount of time taken by some of the passengers to disembark.

Late…late…& confused - Bus oversold by 3 seats. 30 min late leaving Fisherman’s Wharf. Almost no information or commentary provided by the host/tour guide who seemed to struggle with putting sentences together and frequently nodded off to sleep. Very sad to see the aged guide struggling in front of a bus load of paying tourists. To make matters worse, we had to wait 15 minutes for him to finish his dinner before leaving Carmel as he’d gotten his times confused. The one redeeming feature of the day was driver Jack who tried valiantly to put a little humour into the tour at the various stops.
