Collect your bicycle in the Marina District, a neighborhood located less than 3 miles (4.8 km) from the Golden Gate Bridge. Your full-day bike rental package includes a helmet, u-lock, map, and safety tips, along with a selection of well-maintained bikes that are personally adjusted to suit your height. Depending on your destination, you will receive bike routes designed to avoid San Francisco’s hills and traffic.

The mostly flat bike path to the Golden Gate Bridge is just three blocks from the Lombard Street bike shop. Enjoy a ride along the scenic waterfront with stunning views of San Francisco Bay. Pass by the Great Meadow Park at Fort Mason, Crissy Field, the Palace of Fine Arts, and Fort Point on your way to the bridge, which leads to Vista Point and the Marin Headlands.

Once you cross the Golden Gate Bridge, cycle mostly downhill for about 2 miles (3.2 km) to enjoy dining and shopping in the waterfront town of Sausalito. From there, you can take a ferry back to Fisherman’s Wharf or the Ferry Building with your bike (at your own expense). The entire journey takes approximately 3–4 hours. Alternatively, explore the city by bike and visit other San Francisco attractions such as Golden Gate Park and Union Square.
