Super way to see San Francisco - Great start as Lillii the van drove up to greet us. Chad got out and greeted us warmly. Brilliant trip in and around the city, Chad showed us loads of points of interest and was a mine of information. He was friendly, helpful and always ready with a song to fit the occasion. All in all a superb day seeing San Francisco.

Best city tour in San Francisco! - Do this tour on your first day in San Francisco. This tour was just amazing! We hit all the popular spots in a few hours. And Chad is amazing. He was very informative and just an overall awesome person. Really nice kick off to our stay here. Now we know where to go and what to eat. Highly recommended for sure!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience on the Vantigo VW Camper City Tour with our guide, Josh. From the moment we were picked up at Union Square, Josh made the tour feel personal, engaging, and full of great local insight.
The vintage VW camper van added so much charm to the experience, and Josh’s knowledge of the city’s history, culture, and hidden gems really brought San Francisco to life. The tour covered all the must-see sights — Golden Gate Bridge, Painted Ladies, Twin Peaks, Haight-Ashbury — but what made it special was Josh’s storytelling, humor, and attention to detail.
Highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting a unique, relaxed, and memorable way to explore San Francisco. Josh was brilliant — friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the city. A highlight of our trip!

Vantigo A must do tour! - Chad our guide was a 3hr information machine , interspersed with some good Dad joke humour, Made our 6 yr old feel very included in the tour highly recommended!
Thank you for a entertaining morning never known the time fly so fast!
Lets not forget ' Harvey ' the 1971 campervan for conquering the streets of San Francisco , Who got plenty of pictures taken by people on the streets as well as people on the tour

The best trip for exploring San Francisco - One Word: AWESOME ! ! ! !
A few more words:
awesome, awesome, awesome.
I mean the vehicle you're making a San Francisco trip is a 1972 VW T2 Bullie and not a Chinese Ankai G9 bus (the Hop-on-hop-off busses).
For all of you inside the bus the attraction is San Francisco. For all the people outside of the bus the attraction is your bus.
The Tour itself was better than I could imagine.
Our guide Josh drove carefully on the streets and shared his fundamental knowledge bout San Francisco with us. The most beautiful thing for me about the tour with Vantigo Tours was this warm and welcoming atmosphere and having a guide you can ask any question you have. Josh had something to drink and snacks and Ghirardelli chocolate for everyone of his passengers. Also he gives us a flyer with „hot-spots“ for food, nightlife, shopping, etc.
The tour ended where it began and Josh said that he could take off everyone as long its on his way back to Vantigo.
Very nice trip (even we'd not stopped at the Beer-Fest ;-)

Wow! Honestly our family highlight of San Francisco! - Wow! Honestly our family highlight of San Francisco! We have not stopped talking about how much we all enjoyed our tour with Josh!
We were able to see and learn so much about SF in such a short space of time - I don't think any of us wanted to leave the beautiful blue bus at the end of the tour it was so relaxing.
Josh was a fantastic guide and was so friendly and informative. I think the major perk of a private tour was being able to ask questions and getting personsal recommendations for other places and restaurants to explore. Thanks again and will be recommending to anyone we know visiting SF soon!

The experience with Chad... - The experience with Chad and his VW ( historic car ) was above and beyond. Chad is friendly, knowledgeable and has a very positive attitude. He guided us through the city and the history of San Francisco in a fun and a memorable way. It was by far the highlight of our day. We got some great pictures ( that Chad helped us to capture), but above all our time and the whole experience with Chad was great. I would recommend the tour as a very first thing to do when visiting the city.
