Take a day trip from San Francisco and enjoy two of our most popular tour excursions in one day!
Depart from Fisherman’s Wharf and head over the Golden Gate Bridge to the Russian River region for our Woods and Wine Tour! You will first visit Korbel Winery for a full tasting of California Champagne and views of their historic landscape and buildings. You can also visit their on-site deli and pick up lunch or snacks. It is delicious and you can order ahead if you choose to!
After that tasting, we will travel to Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve. Here you can see the Colonel Armstrong Redwoods Tree that is over 1,000 years old!
Lastly, we will take you to Russian River Vineyards, where you will drink overlooking the vines. Here they produce award-winning wines but are farmers first and keep a strong connection to their products.
After all this, we take you back to San Francisco through Sebastopol, where you will see a different view of California countryside.

While we didn’t end up... - While we didn’t end up going to Muir Wooda, we did have a great experience and saw Redwoods. Definitely recommend. Our driver Grady was fabulous! Very knowledgeable.

Always read peoples' review before you book - Went with girlfriends on this 3-in-1 tour. The selection of the first winery was great, we loved the venue and style, demonstration, and the grounds. Selection of the second winery, Russian Valley Wineries was not successful at all. The overall experience was damaged by offering only 1 glass, requiring visitors to discard the remaining wine after your tasting, then washing your glass before offering the next round of the wine tasting. What is the issue to provide 5 clear glasses to your visitors??? Additional down side of the wine tasting process was offering paper !!! cups for regular water. The look on the table was absolutely not pleasant, glasses and paper cups. The tasting was outside at 32C heat, which didn't add any happiness to the overall experience. Red Woods were great, a nice hike was much needed in between the wineries. The selection of the town for the launch was also not the greatest, small town main street didn't offer a lot of food choices. The driver, Vlad was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, entertaining all day along, we enjoyed every minute with him. He saved this review :)

Pretty good tour - The first winery was nice. I'd give them 4 stars. They didn't wrap up the tasting so that we'd know it was over. But it was well presented, but without a closing.
The visit to the Redwoods was very pleasant and we enjoyed it. But we only had 1 hour and 15 minutes. We were hoping for 2 hours, but we had to rush out. That made our rating here as 3 stars.
The second Winery, our last stop, had a beautiful ambience. But they made us wait a while before starting the tasting. In the end, we were rushed. We gave them 3 stars.
We gave an overall rating of 3 stars because we were rushed by the driver. The description said this is a 9 hour tour. But we left after 8:30 am andweres back before 4:30 pm or about 7 1/2 hours. Overall, we enjoyed the tour.

Muir Woods and wine tastings day trip. - The overall trip was great but we did not go to Sausalito as noted when we booked. The trip to Muir Woods was exciting and wonderful. A must see for everyone!!

Nice tour but false advertising - This tour was not what we were promised. When we booked our tour on viator, we were promised Muir Woods, Sausalito, with Napa valley and Sonoma county wine tour. We only got one of the 4 experiences. We did not go to Muir Woods, instead went to Armstrong redwood natural preserve (which was beautiful don’t get me wrong). We never stopped in Sausalito either. In terms of the wineries, we went to two nice wineries but none of them were in Napa valley (both in Sonoma county). Pick up time was also about 45 min after the time we were said to arrive. Our tour experience was fine, but we were just disappointed with the false advertisement that Viator provided with the title of Muir Woods, Napa valley and Sausalito tour

Saw different places - We paid for Muir Woods , Sausalito and wineries. Changed itinary to Anderson Woods and 2 wineries. Never saw what we paid for and regret it.

Not a happy tourist - When I booked, it was supposed to be Muir Redwoods and Sonoma wines. I love some of the wines from Sinoma Valley and have always wanted to go to Muir Reswoods. I booked this trip for a reason and was stressed about booking early enough so that it wouldn't be sold out. They waited until after they charged my credit card to send me an email saying it was changed. By the time they notified me , it was too late for me to research and find another trip. I feel that they had plenty of time to let me know about the change prior to when they did.
The first stop at Korbel Champagne was wonderful. I truly enjoyed ourselves. The second stop, the Armstrong forest, was nothing like I have had people describe and show me pictures of the Muir Redwoods. The last stop was absolutely horrible. The waiter was horrible and acted as if he was being bothered by our little group. Personally and others were not impressed with the wine selections. By the end of the third tasting, people were asking, not even to get the next two samples.
Our Tour guide Marco was wonderful. Everyone enjoyed him.
I feel as if I was taken advantage of, and someone just wanted my money taking me somewhere I didn't sign up for. I paid a lot of money to go see and be treated badly by the staff.
Rest assured, I will remember this this next year at vacation time.

Avoid this company, they are dishonest - "Tower Tours - San Francisco's Sightseeing Specialist" sent a message the day before stating that the tour had changed. Nobody on the tour had read the message, most thought it was an advertisement for another tour they offered. They did not take us to Napa they also didn't take us to Muir Woods. The two things that everyone booked the tour for. Instead they took us to two wineries, one was the worst wine I ever tasted, and they left us there for hours. There was no actual "tour" it was just a shuttle service. We didn't tour one winery. It was a total bait and switch, no refund was offered for removal of three key advertised locations. We were treated like it was our fault for not reading our emails while on vacation. Truly one of the worst experience I've ever had on Viator. This was my first trial of the platform in the USA. I've used it in Europe several times and had fantastic tours, never was an entire tour like this altered and drastically changed with no advanced notice. The tour operator said they sent notice and updated the tour on August 9th, but everyone on our tour booked after the 9th and we all booked for Muir Woods and Napa Valley. We didn't see either of those on our tour.

Lack of transparency - I booked a trip and went in another one. We did not go to Sausalito either the Napa valley. I did not like the enterprise transparency.
