You can see a hole in the upper part of the cave, what archaeologists call observatories that were used as solar markers. We will learn about the volcanic glass called obsidian which was used to create masks, solar filters and weapons. It was the basis of the economy for this culture and today for our artisans. We will taste one of the typical drinks of this region, known as pulque among some others such as Tequila that comes from Jalisco and mezcal from Oaxaca.

Parque Temático Tlalocan - 2km from the archaeological zone, we will visit one of the Teotihuacan neighborhoods where the largest concentration of underground caves was found that were an important part of the development of this great metropolis. You can see a hole in the upper part of the cave, what archaeologists call observatories that were used as solar markers. You will be provided with a helmet and flashlight for your visit to the caves.

Artesanias Premier - We will visit one of the towns surrounding Teotihuacán known as San Martín de las pyramidas where we will attend the workshops given by the artisans to introduce us to obsidian, a volcanic crystal which formed a very important part for the development of Teotihuacán since it was the main base of their economy with which they produced arrowheads, spears, knives, sunscreens and masks among other pieces. We will also taste one of the sacred drinks for this culture known as pulque in which we will have the opportunity to see how they extract it. the Maguey aguamiel, a plant endemic to Mexico to produce pulque and we will also try the Tequila from Jalisco and the mezcal that is produced in Oaxaca. Finally, they will show us the process of smelting and making silver since Mexico is one of the leading silver producers in the world.

The second site is located in the Tlalocan Theme Park, where the largest number of caves are concentrated. We will have the opportunity to enter one of them. We will taste one of the pre-Hispanic drinks known as pulque which is obtained through a fermentation process; Likewise, we will taste some others such as Tequila from Jalisco and Mexcal from Oaxaca.
