Educational and Fun - This is great way to get introduced to the Verrnacia wines of the region as well as basic wine tasting methods. We did the 4 wine tasting, 3 Vernaccia whites and 1 red. The instructor was very knowledgeable and friendly. In a short time you learn a little about the history of the Vernaccia grape, different methods of wine making presently and how the geology of the region affects the wines. After the tasting he was able to point us in the direction of a smaller winery that we visited and loved. Well worth the cost.

Wine Tasting Experience within San Gimignano - Booked this wine tasting / seminar before arriving in San Gimignano. It was a well designed tasting providing just the right amount of history and background of Vernacia di San Gimignano; a very local white wine and grape unique to this part of Tuscany. Classroom style in a stylish setting right inside the walls of San Gimignano. And, the wines were great too!

Accidental VIP wine tasting - We ended up having basically a VIP private wine tasting in San Gimignano of Vernaccia wines! It started absolutely thunderstorming 15 minutes before our reservation and everyone in town hid under overhangs and tunnels. Meanwhile we put on our rainjackets and made our way up to the venue. We were able to learn so much about the local DOCG and experience a wide array of wines. While the agreement with the local wineries doesn't allow the venue to sell bottles after - we were easily able to locate the wines we liked at shops in town after. Very much recommend for anyone looking to try the local cultivar.

Excellent Vernaccia Wine Experience - Amazing wine experience of the Vernaccia wine region along with some history about San Gimignano from our host Francesco. He was amazing as he shared the history of the grapes in this region, did an olfactory sensory experience and then shared 6 wines with us. One of the best wine experiences we have attended and we have done many! Would highly recommend!!

Wonderful experience - We went with a friend to the wine tasting a few days ago and we extremely recomend it. Andrea is a great teacher and explains everything clearly and dynamically, he made the experience even greater. I extremely recomend it if you want to get to know more about the Vernaccia wine.

Nice event - This event was beautiful and well organised, fantastic producers. Excellent master class. The only indecent thing was the fisar table with the red wines. Forgive them for being listless and put there without wanting to… the only thing they say… they are all good! Useless table

Excellent wine but….. 1 - Given that we tasted some excellent Vernaccia in a splendid city, this alone could be enough to give The maximum of stars. What is it that in my opinion didn't work properly? 1- having purchased a first row ticket we were entitled to free parking, we did not see any sign indicating this car park, we asked for directions from a traffic policeman who directed us towards car parks 3-4 where there was no concession therefore all We paid 7 euros for the exit. 2- our ticket said Lovely place but what a sweat to get there and above all what a disappointment to understand that the whole event was in the 2 lower squares. A correction would have been appreciated. 3- The presence of more signs to indicate the tasting point, where to collect the glasses and vouchers was not bad. 4- The presence of a few benches and tables would have avoided the unpleasant sight of seeing a lot of people slouched on the steps around the square.

OK wine tasting - The wine tasting was just OK. Nothing amazing about it. Some of the English was a bit hard to understand. The information session was somewhat game show-like with questions being asked of our knowledge. We were hoping that since this was the documentation center, we would be getting a great sampling of wines from the area; perhaps it was, but we were disappointed.

Bad Customer Service/System - I would have loved to go to this experience. I tried to book it on my phone outside the winery, Because they don't have a desk, you go to it via a QR code. I tried multiple times to book and it kept saying I couldn't book or my cc would not process. I left and got back to the hotel to 2 emails saying I booked twice. I got in touch with them immediately to explain what happened and they accused me of holding 4 places from other people. They refunded one of the transactions but not both. I contacted them again and they again said I took up 4 places that other people could have had and refused to credit me the other booking that was 60 euros. I would not book this online as the system seems very shady. I was in Italy for 5 weeks and never had a problem like this with many other excursions or experiences that I booked on my phone.
