- Nohoch Che’en Caves Branch Archaeological Reserve - This tour departs San Ignacio at 8:30 AM, driving one hour and thirty minutes toward the east then south of Belize . Arriving to the park the guides will provide you with a tube, then you will hike through the jungle along the river bank. There are several starting points; the most popular is after a 45 min walk which is located in between two cave entrances. You have a choice of jumping in or lowering yourself into the water. The tubing adventure is two caves if you do the 45 min walk, if you do a shorter hike of half an hour then you end doing one cave. The first cave is just an easy float through the mountain you just sit back and relax as the guide interprets the Mayan culture and believes. After floating down the first cave we end between to cave entrances again were we can stop for a swim, and get ready for the last caving adventure. The last cave has some rapids that add to the adventure, and there are also a couple areas where you can get out and explore. At the end of the last cave we end up floating down the river ending where we started hiking. Cave tubing is for those who want to have an easy relaxing and fun day.

Incredible experience! - The cave tubing adventure was incredible! We got to tube, swim and get out to explore the caves. Our guide, Abel was amazing! He was very funny and told us all about the Mayans and the history of the caves. We had so much fun and the included lunch was very good. I would highly recommend this excursion!

Great float - Our float guides were very professional, knowledgeable, & worked hard to make sure everyone was safe and had a good time. It was a wonderful adventure for 2 adults and 2 kids (ages 8 & 11)

A wonderful day! - It was an incredible day visiting Xanantunich and cave tubing. The guides were fantastic. So much knowledge and energy. I still can’t believe the stunning Mayan city, the fascinating caves with stalagmites, stalactites and columns. So much fun and a once in a lifetime experience!

Belize Cave Tubing was an awesome experience - My family of 3 couples really enjoyed our experience with Belize Cave Tours. Marvin picked us up promptly at the appointed time and took us to the site in a new and very comfortable van. He did a great job of explaining local plants and rock formations on the hike down to river put-in point. Marvin also did a great job of shepherding the larger group down the river, through the cave along with opportunities to jump off of rock formations if we wished. Great experience - I would highly recommend it!

Amazing tour full of adventure. - Had a great time! FYI these are not the ATM caves, but still an amazing experience nonetheless. Choose the option of the further hike to do two caves- it’s worth it! The walk through the jungle to get to the river was not strenuous but you do need to carry your own tube. We left the tubes for a bit to explore the caves which included some climbing and swimming. If you’re looking for adventure, book this excursion. Don’t forget to bring a change of clothes, bug spray and water shoes. (You can rent shoes for cheap)

Awesome tour!! - Had a great time, awesome experience. I think our tour guide Jose was the best! Other guides quickly got their folks through...he took his time. We got to get in the water to swim while he got the tubes and then go down the water. He also explained the culture and country so well on the ride and on the river. Amazing!!!

Incredible tour! - Our guide and the tour was absolutely incredible! I would come back and do this again! The only downside was that we confirmed a vegetarian meal twice before our tour and they ended up giving us chicken. Thankfully, our guide was amazing and got us grilled veggies so we had more than just rice. The communication with the tour company isn’t great but the guides are worth the trip!
