Incredible - Seeing the ruins in person, such beautiful and incredible how they build the structures so many years before without the technology that we have today.

Not to be Missed! - A trip to Tikal is a must if you are visiting Belize. We stayed in San Ignacio and had our guide pick us up at our hotel. It was a quick trip to the Guatemalan border and then two hours to the site. The temples are beyond impressive. There is so much history and beauty at this location. Not only the incredible architecture, but we saw many wild animals and we were serenaded by howler monkeys. It truly was a day we won’t forget!

Take this tour!! - This was a fantastic tour! Would highly recommend. Despite flooding in San Ignacio due to a recent tropical storm, the tour company was extremely responsive and was able to find accommodative transport to get us to Tikal. Our drivers in both Belize and Guatemala were super friendly and knowledgeable about the respective countries. Our guide in Tikal was extremely knowledgeable and paced the tour well. Our lunch was also excellent and very local. 11/10. Would recommend.

Worth a visit to Tikal with a great guide - Hugo our tour guide was so passionate about the Mayan history and didnt spare any moment to share its history. We even had a delay due to an accident and Hugo was in no way rushing us to make up the time. He also guided us to and from the border of Belize and Guatemala and felt assuring to have someone waiting for us.

Life changing experience - Extremely memorable!!!! First of all I don’t travel alone. My friend missed her flight and I took a chance. I booked this tour spontaneously. 100% safe. My first driver from Belize was very nice and made me feel secure. He offered to stop and get my breakfast. Chicken tacos is not my thing in the morning, so I opted out till I got to Guatemala and that was the best decision ever!!!!! My driver personally was walked me through the international border and talked to the other driver. Introduced me and went about my way in Guatemala. It was very straightforward and just make sure you have $20us to pay. When I got with my driver Ruby in Guatemala he asked me “what I would like for breakfast?” It was phenomenal. I went for the traditional breakfast with a natural drink and I’m so glad I did. Have some grace with Ruby he doesn’t speak English well, but he’s a great driver and he’ll make sure you’re safe. Rudy picked up my tour guide Benny. Benny is one of the most intelligent individuals I have ever come across. He’s a 100% Mayan and speaks many languages. He’s studied his stuff and you can see how passionate he is about his culture. I admire that! He also teach you so much. I grantee you won’t leave Tikal without an imprint. Make sure you request Benny. My trip to Tikal was life changing!!!!!!! I learned so much and I’m so glad I went!!!!!!! I can’t even explain the experience I had in Tikal. Just book the trip!!! You’ll go to lunch at Gonzalez, order the caldo de gallina which is chicken soup. I promise you, you won’t be disappointed. The caldo was sensational. My experience was amazing. I highly highly recommend taking a change, just do it. Also, they don’t obligate you to tip, but I highly recommend being considerate of their time and patience. Give what you can and if you can of course. Remember what you put in this world comes back to you some how.

Life Changing Experience - Where do I begin? First of all let me start off by saying, I do not travel alone. My friends missed a connecting flight, so I took a chance and booked this trip alone. My first driver was, so nice. He asked me “if I wanted breakfast?” I opted out of chicken tacos and decided to wait till I crossed the border. I read reviews about them not being taken to the next driver in Guatemala. Luckily for me that wasn’t the case and glad I didn’t listen to those negative reviews. My drivers talked and introduced me. I felt completely safe and comfortable. When I got into Guatemala my drivers name was Ruby, he was the nicest man ever and although he doesn’t speak English. He is a great driver and he’s very thoughtful. He’ll ask you “if you’d like to get breakfast?” Which cost $10US; I highly highly highly recommend getting breakfast in Guatemala. Omggg!!!!! The natural juice is the best and I went with the eggs and veggies, beans and plantain. Super good! I suggest you get the food to go and eat in the car along the drive, so you can enjoy your time in Tikal. We picked up my tour guide for the ruins in a small pueble his name is Benny!!! 10 out of 10 highly highly recommend requesting Benny as your tour guide for the ruin. He’s probably one of the most intelligent individual I’ve ever crossed, very knowledgeable and has a way of capturing your attention. I learned, so much on this trip. It was actually life changing. I can’t even explain it. Benny is a 100% Mayan and speaks the native language. He’s very passionate and theirs no way you’re going to leave his tour not learning something. I grantee it. After the tour you’re going to go have lunch in the Pueblo. The caldo de gallina was absolutely sensational. Caldo de gallina is chicken soup. Just try it!!!!! You won’t be disappointed. You’re not going to regret the decision of booking this tour. Just book and make sure you request Benny.
