Setting Sail on the Jungle Pontoon

As a marine biologist with a penchant for water-based adventures, I was thrilled to embark on the Jungle Pontoon Adventure in San Ignacio. The final leg of our journey took us to a lagoon with soaring cliffs and the most powerful waterfall I had ever seen. Giovanni expertly navigated the pontoon closer and closer, until we were right under the pounding waters. The sheer volume and force of the waterfall were astounding, and I couldn’t help but scream with joy as I got drenched at the bow, capturing the moment with photos and videos.

After the exhilarating experience, we hiked and explored a small beach near the falls, taking a moment to recover and reflect on the day’s adventures. As we made our way back to the dock, drinks in hand, we marveled at what was undoubtedly the highlight of our trip to Belize. Giovanni’s exceptional guidance and hospitality made the day unforgettable, and his quick return of a forgotten phone was the cherry on top of an already perfect adventure.
