Great experience overall - This was a great experience. Our tour guide was wonderful. He and my boyfriend even managed to talk me into climbing the temples at Xunantunich. My only thing is I wished the Cave Tubing was longer. I absolutely loved the cave tubing and the temples and history was very thought provoking. I think tour companies should let people know what is entailed in all the activities. I think some people that are not active might have a hard time on a lot of tours.

Take this tour, you won't regret a single moment!! - We had the BEST time!!! I highly recommend this tour you get to see so much and learn a ton about Xunantunich and the caves. We could not get enough and are still talking about it to this day and telling all who will listen about it! This was the best adventure we had been on in a long time and our guide, Oneil was incredibly kind, funny and knowledgeable! I learned so much from him and have been learning more in my spare time even now. Do yourself a favor, take this tour, you won't regret a single moment!! But don't forget your bug spray ;)

Great Combo - full day adventure - This was a great combo tour. Our guide Goldborn was extremely knowledgeable about Mayan history when we visited Xunantunich in the morning, and excelled in guiding us through the lovely 45 minute jungle walk, with 3 river crossings, to the cave tubing starting point. We rafted together for the tubing (my husband and I were the only ones in the group) so didn't have to worry about anything. An added bonus was being able to get out of the tubes inside the caves and do some guided exploring. You do need closed toe water shoes, not sandals, that you can also walk comfortably in. If you don't have those, you can rent a pair when you pick up the other gear (tube, helmet, light and life jacket). You can also buy a pair of water shoes, which is what I did.

Amazing historical perspective - What an amazing experience. The park is so clean and the ancient buildings properly protected. We loved that we could climb the stairs on one of the ruins and view the entire complex from above.

Easy trip, relaxing and fun - Relaxing float through the caves and in the river. The walk was not too bad, but be prepared to break a sweat carrying your tube, while wearing a life vest and helmet. Water was cool, clear, and refreshing. Cave was spooky, cool, and amazing. Guides were professional, courteous, and concerned for our safety -- very helpful, too.

Walkable ruins, relaxed cave tubes, delicious lunch - Really knowledgeable guides who took care of us the entire trip. Also, the complimentary meal of chicken stew + rice & beans was comparable to the best we had over the course of our entire trip! My only complaint is that the life vests were a bit smelly, most likely not sanitized after each use.

Unforgettable - don’t skip this experience - Amazing experience! We also added zip-lining, so we had a full day - met our amazing guide and driver, Edgar, in San Ignacio at 8:30am and returned to San Ignacio just after 5pm. Although it was packed it was also a relaxed tour and not exhausting and I would strongly recommend doing all three. Edgar - an experienced, government-licensed tour guide - is really amazing (again) - extremely knowledgeable (the man just knows EVERYTHING about EVERYTHING - history, archaeology, cultures, politics of Belize, geology, etc, will provide a thorough answer to any questions and will make sure to show you everything you need to see and that you know all about it), kind, warm and courteous, has your safety in mind, very punctual and organized - in short, he is everything you want in a tour guide. The visit to Xunantunich was awe inspiring, was more than I expected, and very enriching. We learned a lot about the ancient Maya civilization and about their present day descendants as well. Then we zip lined which was extreme fun, and not scary - do not miss. Then the tubing was so relaxing and therapeutic, lasted much longer than anticipated and you still want it to never end - the scenery was breathtaking - and the cave is one in a lifetime experience. We were 4 (my wife and i and 2 teenage girls), and we all thoroughly enjoyed it! It was the best day of our 9 days in Belize. Thank you, Edgar!

Edgar rules - Excellent tour, Edgar our guide was excellent. Even though we had to call an audible on which we went to, we learned a lot. I had a great time. Added on zip lining, to the cave tubing, excellent adventure. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good time.
