Most unique experience in Lima! - We had THE BEST time with Cusi and her team :) Just kidding, Cusi is the dog, but she was a highlight for sure. Romero was an excellent communicator and driver and our teacher was AMAZING. He made us feel like we were killing it even when I’m sure we looked like toddlers. They really a unique experience even more special. Every detail has been thought out for you and they are flexible as well. 10/10 experience I will encourage all of my friends to do!

Get ready - wax your board ! - The tour started with the pickup at your hotel. Eddie the driver was punctual. The drive out to the sand dunes took ~2 hrs due to traffic, it was a Saturday rush out of town. Driving back was faster less traffic. We met our sand-boarder teacher on the dunes. Abraham Fretell said he walked there from the bus stop to the top in 80 deg F for an hour to meet us. Wow. He spoke english well and taught all the basic movement for sand boarding. Similar to snowboarding except you will have to wax your board every time you go downhill. He was very patient and helpful. The 4wheeling on the sand dunes was an experience that you will never forget. Dunes coaster! The views are amazing!

More fun than we expected! - We had an amazing experience - 10/10 would recommend! Easy pickup from hotel and about 1.5 hour drive to the sand boarding spot, but drive goes by quickly. Once we get off road, we experience some thrilling drives in the sand dunes with an experienced driver in his personal vehicle. The sand boarding experience was more fun that I expected. You start on a few practice runs to get the hang of things with the instructor. Once we were comfortable, we went down the longer runs. You can go as fast or slow as you want. We definitely fell a few times but it’s so soft on the sand and you get right back up. Our instructor took some amazing pictures and videos of us in action (professional quality). After two hours, we were exhausted but felt accomplished. They had cold waters for us throughout the experience and the guides were awesome.

Get out of the city and shred! - If you are on the fence then treat this as your sign: BOOK THIS EXPERIENCE! I had a such an incredible time learning how to sandboard out on the dunes. From the knowledge and friendly conversation (and music taste!) of the guide who expertly led us out of Lima and into the desert to the patient, enthusiastic, and cinematic instructor, I could not have asked for a better time. I booked the bight before and the team was incredibly responsive over Whatsapp, even offering to pick me up at my AirBnB despite my late reservation. The ride was safe and comfortable, and we stopped for great sweetbreads and a final bathroom break before heading into the desert. After a brief stretch and introduction to sandboard, the instructor let me loose on multiple dunes. He constantly hyped me up no matter how many times I fell on my butt. He also used my phone to capture amazing pictures and videos while boarding down the dunes himself. Friends thought I had a drone following me!! I would absolutely book this experience again and recommend it to anyone looking for a short(I was gone about 5 hours), active excursion.

Great day trip - Was a great trip out to the dunes + 3 runs of boarding down the hills. Thanks for the lessons and cool photos! Sandboarding is a lot harder than snowboarding

Fun in the Sand - It was a wonderful experience, being a beginner our guide was patient, I enjoyed falling in the sand and getting back up. I highly recommend this tour, it's so much fun, the views are breathtaking.

Sandy business 🏂 - Wouldn't have ever thought one can have this much fun in the desert! Carlos is a fantastic driver and Abraham is an amazing teacher. Both are great gentlemen and punctual. How they even know without a navigator where to go in the desert is beyond me. Lots of fun and new skills. Can't be more greatful 🙌 🙏 ❤️ I would recommend pants instead of shorts as you will get lots of sand in even with pants 😀

Awesome - I cannot recommend this highly enough it is AMAZING,! We got picked up from our hotel in Lima on time by Abraham (instructor) and Eddie our hilarious driver - buzzed out of Lima and hit the dunes! My 17 year old twins loved every minute, and I was so relieved we had such a fab team as I was a little apprehensive to start. The mountains are beautiful and it was well worth the trip. Cheaper than the other companies I took the gamble and was very pleased I did. Take this company and don’t worry as they are BRILLIANT,!

So Fun! - We loved sandboarding - it was so fun! We had no prior experience, but received great instruction and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The only reason I gave this 4 stars as opposed to 5 is that the agenda advertised said that it would be approx. 20 minutes to the sand dunes and the actual ride is 1.5 hours or more (depending on traffic) which we were not expecting. Otherwise, it was a blast and the instructor and driver were super! We would definitely recommend, just allot more time than what is advertised.
