Last excursion: Cajon del Maipo - Last excursion: Maipo Cajon and Gypsum Reservoir with picnic included 26/08. We were picked up on time, everything was fine until we were informed that, surprise, we were not going to the Gypsum Reservoir and there was no picnic. But that's not all. After the visit to Cajon del Maipo, we were taken to the rental to return the clothes, and then to the restaurant... which had no other options but that. Sure, lunch was a free buffet for $20 per person (no drinks, sure). Afterwards, we were taken to a "chocolate house" where we were put to buy ice cream. Of course, it was optional... but better advance: it was appalling. At 17:00 we arrived back to Santiago, we are still waiting for the refund for the fake excursion we were sold, no one takes care of it.The only rescueable of this excursion was Vanesa, the guide. If my score was just for her, I'd put 5 stars on it. Despite all the bad experiences, he took it humorously, it was fun, he took us to the Veil of the Bride Waterfall trek, he gave us free time, he took pictures of us and tried to make sure we went to the snow in Maipo Cajon, which was the only place where there was anything.
