In this unique place away from the busy attractions of Los Cabos you can relax in peace surrounded by beautiful nature. Here you will have the opportunity to enjoy bathing in the natural hot springs as well as swimming in the cold river pools! If you are in good shape and like hiking we can do a guided hike up river to see some more natural swimming pools and small waterfalls. If you are up for a more challenging and longer hike you get rewarded with a secluded an exclusive hot spring as well as breathtaking views of the canyon and mountains. ! You will also learn about the flora, fauna, and brief history of the area as well as the local culture. After the hot springs we can stop at a local family restaurant for authentic lunch. (optional and not included in the price) Live this unique experience with Good Trips Baja! The total time of the tour is approximately 7 hours including transportation time. It takes from 1.5 to 2 hours drive to get there but it is a nice drive into the natural reserve were you can get to see the country side of los cabos.

Great relaxing adventure - First off, request Carlos as your tour guide. He is extremely knowledgeable about the entire area, from the marina to San Jose and the mountains in between. He lives there, kayaks there, hikes there, climbs there, surfs there, and knows all the off the beaten tracks there. He is passionate about all the nature that makes Cabo, Cabo. With that said, he promptly picked us up at 830a. and catered our hot springs towards our desires. If you want to take the adventurous side roads to get there (which I recommend), he'll gladly do that. If you would rather take highway, he's cool with that, too. He is safety conscientious with you in mind. He'll assist you in any way, he brings water and snacks, and even sets an umbrella up over you so you don't get too much sun. The hot springs were amazingly warm and soothing. There was a river you could cool off in and traverse up to waterfalls. After as long as you wanted experiencing the area, we went to the best outdoor, local taco restaurant. Yes, get the margarita and/or pina colada with local dragon fruit in it. The flour tortillas are hand-made locally, and all the meats/seafood are locally sourced. Service there was excellent as well. Just a great day hanging out with a cool guy living the Cabo dream. A memory for a lifetime.

Max gave us a five star experience today! - Our group of 4 had such an incredible time with Max today! From the time we got settled in the car to head to Santiago until we were dropped off 8 hours later, Max kept us entertained and active. We learned about the history of the area, geology of the hot springs, and he even thrilled us with a high dive from 40 feet up. We visited and enjoyed hot springs, waterfalls and cool lakes, all the while feeling safe and cared for.
To top it off, Max took us to Agave restaurant, a family owned restaurant nearby that served the most delicious lobster tacos, the lobster had been caught that morning. And Tequila the friendly cat was a sweet bonus.

Best day of our trip - thanks Carlos! - Carlos was fantastic! We had our best day in Cabos thanks to Carlos. He knows great local beautiful spots to check out including hot springs, waterfalls, and tacos!

Perfect trip for the family - Our guide carols is excellent and always make sure we are comfortable with the trip.
I was little worried going to hot spring when it is 90 degrees outside, but I am so glad I went with the plan. The cold river next to the hot spring is a perfect combination for the trip. We soaked in the hot spring for 5min and immediately jumped into the river to cool down. It was perfect.
The kids love to swim in the river with the little fishes. It is the perfect trip for our family.

Such an awesome experience! - Carlos was great! Highly recommend this tour with Carlos. He let us decide what we wanted to do, and how far we wanted to hike. We will definitely be doing many more tours with Carlos!

Amazing day with Carlos!!!!! - This was so much fun. We had a great day with Carlos. He was so kind, informative and helpful. While the drive to the hot springs is an about an hour or so away, it’s worth the trip out of the busy Los Cabos area. I would highly recommend this company, excursion, and Carlos!!!

Great Guide Added to the Experience - This was something a bit different and off the beaten track from other activities we did. Carlos, the guide, really made it a great experience. He was very focused on making it a great day for us, modifying the activities to fit our needs, and sharing information about Mexico. Our comfort was definitely a top priority to him. We are not big hikers, but it was manageable, and well worth it to enjoy the lagoon and waterfall.

Hiking higher next time! - I enjoyed the tour and would do it again. My group stayed at the lower springs which were very beautiful. I ask lots of questions and the tour guide was very informative and friendly.
