Wonderful walking food tour - Met at the San Jose del Cabo sign in front of the church and were met by our tour guide, Diana Sofia. Had to wait 15 minutes for other participants (who never showed). Ended up with a personal tour (max bonus). Diana was simply wonderful. Explained in detail what food and drinks were at each stop. Couple of things to know about this tour. Don’t have breakfast if you’re on the morning tour. And you need to like corn tortillas. First stop was fresh jugos. We had horchata and hibiscus flavours . Both fresh made and delish. Second stop, mole enchiladas. Again, absolutely delish. Third stop, quesabirra (slow cooked pork. Absolutely delish ( you may sense a recurring theme here). Fourth stop, sopas carnitas. You know how it tasted. Fifth stop, fish tacos (mahi mahi). Better than absolutely delish. Best plate of the day. Last stop, all natural ice cream (no dairy). We had lemon and lime. Wonderful palette cleanser after the five food stops. Best part - all the restaurants were small local operations. Plenty of locals eating and ordering lunch. If lots of locals eat there, you know the food is good. We did ask of we could buy some mole sauce at the second stop. The waiter sadly shook his head “no”. Must be a secret recipe ( which given how complex the mole tasted, I get completely). Diana did confess she was new at food tours. You would never know it. Fully knowledgeable and had excellent English. Would do another tour with her in a heart beat.

Great tour and Great food even for kids - We had a great time on this tour. The food was delicious, and our guide Adrian was so good at explaining everything. There is a lot of walking over Mexican sidewalks, but I walk with a cane, and I was able to do it all. We had 4 children ages 9 to 11 with us and they also enjoyed the tour - no whining, lol. Don't miss this opportunity. It's worth it.
