The best place for hiking in Costa Rica. - It has a lot of trails to suit everyone, the views are stunning, the trails are well marked plus it is great for bird watching and I can walk many of the trails with my dogs. The Hike to Laguna de Colores has to be the best hike in Costa Rica. Very highly recommended.

Beautiful and awesome!! - This was a gorgeous property. I would definitely recommend it to anyone staying near San Jose to explore the cloud forest. The roads are a pit gnarly getting to the property and I was glad to not have to navigate them in the rain. When we got there, we found out they had opened up the place just for My son and I, which was an honor, but I also felt bad that they had to stick around while we were hiking. We never felt rushed, though. The trails were well maintained, and clearly marked. We downloaded a trail app that was easy to use to make sure we were on the correct trail. We were given long distance radios so we could call in if we were having trouble. The lunch served afterwards was delicious and made fresh when we arrived back after our hike. Bring bug spray ( my son did pick up a tick along the way) and raincoats as it did rain on and off.
