Amazing trip wet or dry - Amazing crew. The driver was safe and knowledgeable. Our guide, Victor, the BEST. The mic didn't work much of the trip but I think everyone could hear. Would take it again, during the dry season 😁. I don't like mountain roads in the rain.

A packed day! - Viktor was our tour guide, very friendly and knowledgeable. First we stopped at Doka coffee farm where we had a very filling and delicious breakfast. There is also a butterfly garden, our guide was able to hold butterflies for us so we could get a better look at them. We were shown the whole process of the coffee bean, from plant to cup. I did think we might get to try more different brews but we only got to try 2 kinds with our breakfast. Then onto Poas Volcano, we had food weather but even then the clouds crept in - they didn't hang around for long, we waited a few minutes and were rewarded with a stunning view of the main crater. After this we stopped at a strawberry focused souvenir shop, where we tried several liqueurs. A short while later we went to La Paz waterfall, it's beautiful and you can walk behind it, very loud, also advisable to wear a rain jacket here. We also made a stop at Starbucks coffee farm which was amazing! There are gorgeous views from the café, however the wait time for our drinks was pretty substantial given how few people were there. I would definitely recommend the tour!

An experience worth telling yourself - The tour was very satisfying. Victor, our guide was on time for us and advised us to be warned for cold weather. During the tour he was entertaining and interacted with all the members of the group.

It's worth it - I loved the tour of the Volcano Crater Poás and Coffee with Tasting and Waterfall! It was super well organized, the guide Victor was very informative and everything happened at the right time, with quite care with safety. The only thing that didn’t help much was the weather, so we couldn’t see the volcano so well, but that didn’t spoil the experience. The tour was amazing, with beautiful landscapes and lots of interesting information. I highly recommend, very well worth it!

Birthday Option - Super varied, it makes a little bit of everything. You can support the local trade and Don Victor and the super friendly and helpful bus lord.

Not enough time, but it's still okay. - So I thought the tour would be longer and we'd have more time to see the sights, but it was still worth the price. We definitely spent too much time in the souvenir shops instead of checking out another volcano crater or walking around La Paz waterfall. The longest part of the trip was the coffee plantation tour, which was still pretty cool though. Our guide and driver were really nice, but they could have given us more info on the bus during the ride, which took up a lot of time both ways. Oh, and the trip usually includes the Doka coffee plantation, but we also made a quick stop at the Starbucks plantation.

I didn't like it. Lousy tour - In the itinerary I said that the departure of the trip was 5am in front of the Costa Rica Hotel and we were not warned that until 6am (an hour of my valuable wasted time). Breakfast in Doka with lack of flavor and the portions of terrible fruits. The climate at Poás volcano was not in optimal condition and they did not offer another alternative of attraction. The visit to the Peace Falls did not give the necessary time and was not enjoyed

disappointed - All in all, the trip felt like we were going from tourist shop to tourist shop. But that wasn't the only thing we didn't like. Breakfast was advertised as a buffet, but when I wanted to get something after my first portion because it didn't fill me up, I wasn't allowed to. That annoyed me a bit. Then there was the café tour, although it would actually be better to go to the volcano as early as possible because locals told us that the view of the crater is clear in the morning. So after the café tour was over and we spent about 20 minutes in the shop, we went to the volcano. But we didn't see any of it, we were at the volcano at about 11 a.m. and it was full of fog. For my girlfriend and I, that was a slap in the face because that was the main reason we booked the tour. Instead of staying longer at the crater and hoping that the fog would clear, we drove to the next tourist shop to waste time there. Then we stopped for 15 minutes at a waterfall that is right on the road. The crowning glory was sitting in a restaurant for about 1.5 hours waiting to finally get home. We were stunned at how much time we wasted instead of staying at the crater. This is the first tour from viator that we didn't like at all.
