Excellent tour! - This tour was excellent! Angel did such a great job explaining to us about the history of the Costa Rican economy, showing us around the markets, and just making the tour fun and interesting. Our three girls loved trying the ice cream at Lola Mora, trying all the different types of fruit, and seeing all of the working cats in the market. The adults loved learning about the sodas, visiting the post office and Theatre Nationale, and exploring the markets. And we absolutely loved the aquq de sapo, the coffee and hot chocolate, and empanadas at the end. This is an excellent tour if you are looking to learn about the history and culture of Costa Rica and learn to do things as locals do! Thank you, Angel!

Amazing tour! - The bites and sights tour was great. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and kind. He talked a lot about the history and economics of Costa Rica. He hand cut all the fruits we tried and they were amazing. The pineapple and mango taste like candy. It was hands down a great tour. Loved every minute of it. The coffee at Mr. Sloth's coffee shop was unbeatable. The tamales were delicious. The ice cream was like nothing I had ever tasted before. Great tour in a beautiful country.

Bites and Sights – what we learned and ate was great! - Fun and informational tour! Andrea brought out so many details across the city, and especially in the market, that I never would have noticed. She is very friendly and accommodating. We learned about unique food items – how they grow and how they are prepared. The cooking demo and activity at the end was really fun and the samples were delicious, generous and quite filling for me. So glad I chose this tour!

Good way to start trip in Costa Rica - Good way to get an introduction to San Jose. We liked the fruit stop in the market - many fruits we hadn’t seen or tried before. The last coffee stop and empanadas was good - only downside- don’t be so stingy with ice cream tasting!!
