A great tour - Our guide was well informed and very helpful in making sure we saw what we wanted. We were the only ones that signed up and were happy it wasn’t cancelled. I would highly recommend this tour.

Beautiful, big city! - We had flown in and out of San Jose the last couple of years, but this time had an extra day and did a city tour. We were told there are over one million citizens in San Jose! It's huge! There are several suburbs. We went on a weekend and it was super busy. I would probably opt to go during the week if I did it again.

Mixed experience. - Our tour guide (Fernando) was excellent. We learnt a lot about the city and its history. The problem was that the tour description included tickets at places visited and lunch. However, our guide was surprised to hear that because he was not instructed to pay entrance tickets and no lunch. Actually, because he was very good, we invited him to join us for lunch -- for which we paid.

Impacted by COVID - The six hour tour only took two. The dept of health had closed down the city due to a COVID outbreak. Everything was closed. Can’t really blame the operator. Probably also went faster because there were just the two of us.
