La Casita del Café TRES GENERACIONES COFFEE PLANTATION- CAFÉ MEDIO SOL/MEDIA LUNA. - Poas Volcano - We will travel up to the Poás Volcano, which is one of the seven current active volcanoes in Costa Rica! After we reach the impressive main crater, we will then hike to Botos Lagoon and follow the trails around the volcano to explore nature.
- La Paz Waterfall Gardens - We will visit the renowned La Paz Waterfall Gardens Natural Park, one of the most stunning parks in Costa Rica. On our visit we will see over 100 rescued animal species including sloths, jaguars, toucans, hummingbirds and many more. It is an experience which our guests often say is the highlight of their trip! We will then have a buffet lunch with over 35 food options to cater to all tastes. Finally, we will visit the five famous La Paz waterfalls, offering picturesque photo opportunities in different locations.

For this full day tour, we will visit three incredible places that are completely unique to this area. As well as learning more about Costa Rican coffee, we will visit Poás Volcano, one of only seven active volcanoes in the country. We will then see over 100 species including rescued sloths and hummingbirds in the La Paz Waterfall Gardens. This is my favourite trip in the San Jose area, providing you with a great combination of picturesque scenery and the chance to get up close to many species found in Costa Rica.

Great trip, an essence - Great trip, great guide, really nice places we visited. Pace was ok, had plenty of time to enjoy. Really recommend as a first excursion when visiting San Jose area.

Awesome day with Olman! - Coffee plantation was interesting and was in a beautiful setting. The volcano did not hide from us and was mesmerizing. La Paz gardens had a big variety of plants, animals and waterfalls.
Olman was a top notch guide keeping a perfect balance of delivering information and just being available for any questions. His beautiful, new van was a pleasure to ride in. The lunch served in the gardens was very good. Highly recommend this excursion!

A Must-Do in Costa Rica - This excursion was great and our tour guide, Daniel, was amazing. The coffee plantation was better than expected - interesting to learn about the coffee plant and a great opportunity to try the coffee and take some home. We were super lucky since we saw the crater at the Poas volcano and enjoyed breathtaking views of the lagoon. The waterfalls were more than we planned for, too. They have a ton of animals to view and the lunch buffet was really good - even had American food (pizza, French fries, and hot dogs for the kids!) But, what really sets this excursion apart from others we’ve done was the tour guide. He was very informative, offered to take group pictures, and didn’t make us feel rushed. But, he also kept us on track so we could see and do everything. It was a fun-filled day of beautiful sites and fun activities. Pura Vida!

The highlight of Costa Rica - I had many problems with trying to get viator to confirm my trip. I paid multiple times and viator cancelled my reservation. The tour company checked in with me about my cancellation and I explained my situation. The tour company was able to get me on the tour which I am so grateful about it. This tour will truly be the highlight of your stay in Costa Rica. Jack (Jack Daniel) kept the energy alive with lots of love. He was able to connect everyone well. Our driver was great as well. The coffee farm was very interesting. I learned something about coffee that I never knew. To actually be on top of a volcano was cool experience. Now they saved the best for last which was the waterfalls. It was magical and breathtaking. Be ready for a whole lot of walking of hiking hills and stairs.. It was truly a great adventure..

Good tour - Very nice excursion, the three sites were interesting, and the guide was excellent. I highly recommend this day trip.
The La Paz Waterfall site was excellent for observing the local flora and fauna.
