Highlights
Our English-speaking driver will be waiting for you outside the airport, holding a sign with your name, and will assist you with your luggage to the van. From there, we’ll take Route 1 out of the Central Valley, reaching San Ramón about halfway through for a stop to use the restrooms, grab a bite, or stretch your legs. After this convenient break, we’ll continue down the mountains to the northern plains of Costa Rica and drop you off at your hotel in downtown La Fortuna, at the base of the stunning Arenal Volcano.

Fantastic transfer/tour - Adrienne was wonderful and informative. He took us to a great restaurant on the way and made the drive from SJO to La Fortuna enjoyable!

So easy to work with this company! - The company was so easy to work with.
When I had to change my pick up time, it was no problem for them.
When I asked for suggestions for a side trip, they had a great idea and we enjoyed seeing the animal rescue center in San Jose, Costa Rico.
I highly recommend working with this company.

Safe and fun experience - I went on a mother and daughter trip, and I couldn’t have felt safer. Once we arrived to San Jose our first driver Adrian was outside waiting for us. He was helpful, fun, and very professional. Since I felt so secure and comfortable I kept contacting Fortuna Expeditions for all my long rides in Costa Rica and we also had the pleasure to meet Yorlen, a super smart and humble gentleman who had an answer to all of my questions regarding CR.
I totally recommend them.

Private airport transfer - We had a late night pick up. Richard was on time and ready to go in a great van!
He navigated the crazy roads well and got us to our hotel! Great experience we actually used them again to get to our next hotel!

I cannot recollect our... - I cannot recollect our drivers name, but he was so personable and kind on our private transfer! He provided cold waters upon pickup from the airport. He would give us information about the sights and areas we were passing through. We stopped for lunch and a couple of bathroom breaks en route. Thanks so much!

Eight days in Costa Rica - We, the family of four, planned our eight day trip Costa Rica trip with Fortuna Expeditions. Carlos meticulously planned every aspect of the trip - awesome stays at La Fortuna, Monte Verde, and Manuel Antonio; meaningful and well coordinated activities. Poas hike, Cano Negro tour, and Ecotermales Hot Springs were highlights of the trip.
Carlos stayed on top with heads-up summary of next days event and readily available for enquirers.
We are very happy and satisfied with our first trip to Costa Rica and will not hesitate to plan with La Fortuna (Carlos and team) again in the future.

Highly recommended!! - My friends and I hired transportation from SJO airport to La Fortuna with them, the unit was very comfortable and Carlos's attention was excellent, he attended to all our requests, our driver Adrián was very friendly and he advised us on unmissable tours. Good transfer - worth doing - Very good, friendly transfer. Was a bit hard to find the driver initially but we got it sorted. Arrived safely and on time with a nice stop half way for a restroom etc (and a lovely view!)
