The only way to see San Jose! - Great overview of San Jose. Guide was very informative and great at keeping us together. His knowledge of the city and country was wonderful. The tour included an authentic Costa Rican lunch which was delicious. We even had a person singing and playing the guitar on the bus which was a very nice touch. Being picked up at our hotel was so helpful.

Amazing Guided Bus Tour - The tour guide was excellent, knowledgeable pleasant and very professional. During the bus trip my friend and I had the chance to listen to some typical music of the country with a costaricain guitarist playing for us in the bus, also eating costaricain food for lunch part of the tour. The experience was amazing.

Awesome City Highlights - This tour was a great introduction to the city and history of Costa Rica. The huge bus took us around the city to key places of interest. Our guide Hector was very knowledgeable and helpful. Lunch was incredibly good and had protein options. Well worth the price.

Excellent historical tour! - Our tour Guide was so informative. We are history buffs so this tour was an amazing overview of the founding fathers, Civil War and government. The Gold museum was fascinating and the market was amazing to see. Great fun day and the double decker bus was perfect for viewing the city.

2 museums and park - We really enjoyed the 2 museums, but missed the opera house due to a school kids’ field trip. Lunch at a nearby cafe was healthy and light. The traffic on a Friday we were told was heavy from an airport hotel and it was.

Learning About Costa Rica - the rich coast - Learning about the Costa Rica culture and interacting with Costa Ricans warms my heart – I met nothing but good hearted, genuine, people and this tour was a prime example of that – from the tour guide to the folks we met along the way. A nice way to get acclimated to the city.

A day visit - Very informative. Learned a lot about the cultural. You get a sneak peek at everything. Need more time in the market. But overall it was a pleasant way to occupy a day in san jose since it's not a town you want to navigate on your own. Prety good typical costa rican lunch.

Mixed review - We didn't visit the Teatro Nacional since all of a sudden it wasn't available. You need to pay more attention when planning stops. The casado was the best of the several that have been offered during tours. Hector was an excellent bilingual guide.

Great tour, but a CR holiday I didn't know about closed the museums - The trip was okay. I happen to go on a national holiday which I didn't know so most museums were closed. The meal was very good and still drove by different places in the city
