Great Overview of San Jose - Good overview of the important sights to see in San Jose. Our guide also shared interesting history. The double decker bus provides a nice view while also getting some live musical entertainment.

Good Way To See The City Highlights - A pretty decent tour which covers many of the city's highlights and gives you an insight into the history and culture of Costa Rica. You start in the Central Market which is a fascinating world in and of itself, and there are stops as the beautiful Cathedral, and a number of Parks and Plazas, all with a very interesting history. Our tour guide was very thorough, explaining in detail the importance of each location, and various monuments to the history of San Jose and its impact or influence on the economic and political development of Costa Rica. The stop at the opulent National Theatre was among my favourites. The tour ends with a dinner at a local restaurant. It was okay, but not particularly exciting or special, and I felt that that part of the tour could have been enhanced a little with a bit of interaction by the tour guide and an explanation about what we were eating and its relevance to Costa Rican cuisine. Overall a good tour though and a good way to see and get an insight into San Jose in a short few hours.

Very Good - The trip was very informative about the historical areas in San Jose that represent the Costa Rican culture. We were able to see the market place , cathedral, art museum, theater, and town square. The guide was very passionate and explained everything well.

San Jose city tour - San Jose city tour started at the museum in double decker bus . went to main attraction , on board live music was enjoyable. Driver explained in details about all sites and told us history about San Jose. After our trip, he took us in good restaurant. food was good and service was very quick. over all we enjoyed the tour.

Nice. - Hector, our guide was attentive and very friendly. It was well documented. I liked that we were enlivened with live music. The food was good. We wanted the local food experience and it was acceptable.

A Good Look at the City - Our guide was great, as was transportation. Because it was an evening tour, it was hard to see some things. The food was good, but the steak was a little tough.

Noce tour, some misleading info - Overall this was a good tour. The guide kept switching between Spanish and English very first without pauses, making it difficult to follow initially. The tour description says that it includes the entry fee to the national theatre, however they only take you to the lobby of the theatre, visiting which is free. Tickets are required only to go inside. So either they should change the description or refund the ticket amount for the national theatre ticket. The dinner was nice in a small restaurant.

Unhappy - We were disappointed with the tour specially for the price. Hardly anything to see, the guide was fine but they do not keep people engaged throughout the tour. They just take you few spots in Downtown and that’s it. The dinner was fine at a decent restaurant.
