A memorable martyr and the best meals - San Juan de los Lagos is a fascinating place, but on this occasion I discovered its holy martyr Saint Toribio and two excellent places to eat. I highly recommend “El corazón del centro” (for dinners) and “Corazón de mar” (for meals)…charming places, excellent food, very cordial service and -truly- a lot of heart. I also had breakfast at the Public Market at the Menuderia “Moran Tijereado”, having the special attention of its owner John was the best, a delicious Menuderia...so I must also highly recommend them.

Magical San Juan de los lagos - We went on our own, but it really was incredible. We ate local food, at the food market, all delicious and at a very good price, we spent about $600 pesos and we were 7 people We visited the cathedral, the pocito, the local market, we bought their delicious cajeta, typical sweets, and we couldn't leave behind buying bedspreads and blankets. We were in the main square and all day we had something to do without leaving there, my daughters enjoyed it a lot and had a lot of fun, I recommend staying for about 2 nights so they can see everything. We had taquitos for dinner that were on every corner, as well as tamales and champurrado, all very affordable and delicious.

celestial reunion - It was a trip in which I stayed for 6 days, I went with my family in total we were 17 people It is a place that still contains its culture in the form of houses, the residents dress in typical Mexican clothing, the food they sell is classified into Mexican dishes, it is a place that is not expensive most of the route they sell traditional sweets and many crafts made with wood. It is a place that has many places to take pictures, at night the residents turn on yellow lights and the churches are adorned with a series of lights that make it shine far away, making it a very beautiful magical town ,It is a place that I would recommend to spend with the family telling that, in terms of prices, it is not expensive, it is cheap to be there, the only disadvantage is that there is not much security in the place, there are hardly any officers patrolling the area
