• Roofyard - Experience the longest-running Salsa event in Puerto Rico! Guided by a local Puerto Rican dancer, participants will:

1. Enjoy a complimentary Caribbean cocktail
2. Learn Latin dance steps and techniques
3. Receive a cultural history lesson about Caribbean music
4. Head out for a night of dancing to a live band at a local Salsa bar!

The gathering begins at a rooftop bar with a welcome cocktail, allowing everyone to get acquainted. Participants will then learn the fundamentals of Latin dancing, starting with “Merengue” to grasp the basic techniques. Next, they’ll explore “Salsa de Calle,” or “Street Salsa,” the style favored by Puerto Rican locals. Once ready, the group will head to a nearby nightlife spot to experience a live Salsa band and watch locals dance. Participants can join in or simply enjoy the performance.

This experience is available rain or shine. The meeting point is a rooftop bar, but there is an indoor area available in case of rain.

No prior dance experience is necessary.

Different Salsa bars are visited on different nights, so the live music venue will vary depending on the night booked.

Now that you’ve got the moves, you’re ready to hit the dance floor! So we’ll go to a nearby nightlife hot spot where you’ll see a live salsa band and locals dancing! You can join in, or just watch and enjoy the show.
