Great for solo travel - Very informative, entertaining, and engaging. He brought us to many cool places and overlooks. As solo traveler, I still had a blast.

You are in the hands of an expert - Varied activities. Be prepared for a 30 min hike over rocky and in some places muddy trail in the rainforest. Wear appropriate footwear. Well worth it. Issac our guide was smart, engaging and took good care of us. Had good experience of the rainforest and the lunch stop was amazing.

Fun tour! We were picked... - Fun tour! We were picked up from our hotel, stopped at several points of interest and learned interesting tidbits of information along the way. We hiked and swam. Great experience. Isaac was an awesome tour guide.

Informative tour--courteous service - The communication with the tour group personnel beforehand was excellent--I phoned with questions and they were very helpful. Once on the tour, our guide Albeny kept us entertained with info about the history and culture of Puerto Rico the whole ride there, and answered every question we had. He made sure to talk to each of us, and attended to our needs (for ex, giving me a helping hand in and out of the van). The El Yunque National Frest is a must-see and I recommend this tour group.

Luis is a superstar - Our guide Luis was excellent! He kept the group engaged with facts and stories of PR and El Yunque. He allowed us to ask questions and had great answers. He’s also a great driver which is key on winding wet roads. He was willing to take photos for us which was a plus. I did the same tour in 2022 and this one with Luis was much better

A great taste of el Yunque - We call this a taste of the rainforest as it’s so big. We didn’t do any hiking or walking through the forest but enjoyed a swim opportunity, seeing the tower and a tour around from the car. Amazingly bug free, enjoyable, and our guide has lots of knowledge to share even altered pick up and drop off to fit our group.

Would have liked to see more - It was a good experience but I think for the $80 we paid, we were expecting a little more time exploring taking into account the tour description. The tour guide was very nice. We only stopped at the observation tower for about 20mins, and walked the Angelito trail and swam in the natural pool at the end, this was like 45 mins, we stopped to eat ( food not included), and that was the end of it. By the description I thought it was going to be about 5 hours and another stop was mentioned in it but did not happened in our tour. We were picked up around 9:15 am and dropped off at 12:30. I would have picked another tour for the same amount of hours and less money. Not sure if the 5 hours include the drive to the hotels for the tourists staying in San Juan, but we were staying in Luquillo so we were literally near the park. I think it was a little overpriced for what we were offered, we would have liked to see more.

Our Rainforest Tour Experience - To start with a positive, our tour guide Issac was fantastic. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and took the time to answer our questions. We visited 4 different spots and stopped for lunch. The spots included a tower, a scenic area, a mini hike, and an area we could swim. The tour guide also pointed out landmarks throughout the tour like waterfalls. The description of the tour felt a little misleading as none of the areas were stroller accessible. There was a lot of climbing and an area that included a half mile of going uphill (which we were not able to do). The tour moved at a very fast pace and did not wait for us several times. The tour guide would be speaking and my party would be far behind trying to keep up. We also did not see any animals, other than small lizards and a few black birds. Overall, the rainforest was wonderful but the tour could have been more accommodating, especially for $80.00 a person.

Not a good option if you expect to see more of the rain forest - The tour is really short, we made 3 stops in total (and did not go to the last one on the itinerary) plus a lunch break. Without the lunch break we could have gotten back around 12. I think the way the itinerary is presented on the site is misleading. You spend 2 hrs in total at the rain forest and that's it. The tour guide was very friendly but overall I feel like this is a very disappointing experience.
