Great guide, beautiful sights, all in a few hours - My wife and I had a great time! Eli was the best guide. He was early to pick us up from San Juan, and he made the trip to El yunque was informative and funny. The van was clean and spacious enough. The sights in El yunque were amazing! The hike to Mt. Britton tower was first and is on a paved path. It was steep and did get crowded at times but it was not too intense. My main complaint would be the path is tight so we were looking down to stay on path, which prevented us from fully taking in the views. But we did make multiple stops and Eli explained the flora and gave us time to take pictures and embrace the beauty. The hike was ~1 hour up and down. From there we made stops at another tower, a beautiful waterfall, and the river (no further hiking). These last few stops were all 15-30 minutes but did not feel too rushed. If you plan on swimming in the river wear your suit to the hike as there was nowhere to change. It ended up being about 5 hours start to finish and Eli kept us on schedule. If you are looking for a half day crash course for El yunque that will exert you but not knock you out, I would highly recommend this tour!

Easy San Juan 1/2 Day Trip - The tour guide was so nice! It was lovely to get away from San Juan for a day without having a car or needing any hiking gear. We were able to easily fit it in, along with a dinner, all before our 9pm flight back.

Easy way to visit the actual El Yunque National Forest from San Juan - A great way to visit El Yunque National Forest from San Juan! We loved that this tour took us inside the actual national forest (the "water slide" tours do not). Scenic stops at the Yokahu Tower, La Coca Falls, and Baño Grande Pool (where we were able to get the national parks passport stamp in the gift shop!), and a nice easy hike on a paved path--about 1.6 miles total, out and back on the first part of the Mt Britton trail, which took under an hour. The roads are steep and twisting, and parking in the park was very limited, so we were so glad we decided to do this tour instead of renting a car, although we would have done a longer hike if we had. Our guide provided some useful context about Puerto Rico and the forest on the way up, too.

Great experience of El Yunque - Despite areas of El Yunque being closed due to flooding, Harry ensured we had a memorable trip to the Rainforest. A great tour if you want to experience the Rainforest without too much hiking!

An honest review of this excursion on this particular day - It was nice to be able to get away from the heat of San Juan and we didn’t experience any rain. Unfortunately it was hazy at the Yokahu Tower so we couldn’t see some of the other islands like the U.S. Virgin Islands. The best part was the Mt Britton hike but we weren’t able to go all the way to the Mt Britton tower (not enough time allotted) for any sort of view. Also be advised that the moderate hike to the top may be difficult for people out of shape or elderly. Fortunately there are rest shelters along the way. And because there are no views at the top of this particular stretch of hike it really doesn’t matter. A suggestion might be to allot more time to the hike so you can go all the way to the tower. The final 15-20 minute stop at the river didn’t make sense without being able to swim there. So perhaps that time could be better used for the hike.
