- San Juan - We will start by picking up our customers from San Juan and then make our way across the island until we reach the Rainforest area. We travel along many different cities in which the tour guide will share some interesting and entertaining information of Puerto Rico along the way.
- Luquillo - We take in the beautiful view of the Luquillo Beach are as we keep making our way to El Yunque. We pass by a well-known location where local offer different culinary choices. A great way to spend another day with your family exploring our paradise! We only drive by the area, we don’t stop but shared experiences have been known to be great.
- El Yunque National Forest - After driving from San Juan to the Eastern side of Puerto Rico, we get geared up and ready to start our activities. We complete a moderate hike along the enchanting beauty of the wilderness that surrounds El Yunque, we reach a beautiful river pool area where we start our water activities. From natural waterslides to cliff jumping and rope swinging, we engage in an adventure that fills participant with an amazing feeling of life. Participants can choose between an adventurous experience or a calming and refreshing stay in our tour area as we bathe in the beautiful and refreshing waterfalls of El Yunque. Once we are done with relaxation and adventure we make our way back to our starting area for our trip to San Juan. You will be able to explore the land in which our natives lived experience the terrain in which they made their living and called their home. Connect with nature and walk out with a new way of looking at nature and life!

- Back problems and pregnant women cannot participate on the tour.
- This tour operates based weather and river conditions.
- Use of lifejacket and helmet is mandatory.
- On Saturdays the hike is longer and more challenging since we depart from a different point.
- San Juan Tours reserves the right of admission - If a person appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, not following instructions or causing disruptions the guide has the right to cancel their reservation at any moment, and no refunds will be issued due to this. Persons with the previously listed health restrictions cannot participate on the tour. No refunds will be authorized if a person neglects to read complete description and does not meet the safety requirements and limitations on the day of the tour. The entire experience was... - The entire experience was great. I only have one tip. Give the tourist all needed items and details about attire/shoes when booking not a day before the hike. Especially for first time hikers.

El Yunque National Rainforest - Amazing! If you don’t do anything else while you’re visiting PR, make sure you go to El Yunque! It’s just beautiful! And if you’re lucky, you’ll get Luis as your tour guide!

Party of 9 - I would highly recommend going early and in a small group. We had a fabulous time and our guide was awesome. I recommend wearing good gripping shoes. We had 4 adults and 5 children.

Fun Trip and Great Value for the money! - Would Recommend! - We booked this trip last minute and it did not disappoint. The bus ride there and back was comfortable and the A/C was great. Our guide Jefat /Jeffrey was fantastic and friendly. He was very patient with all of us, helping us climb/step up the rocks and encouraging those who were nervous of jumping off the rocks. He also took pics and videos of us the whole way and just gave us the photos with no extra charge! NOTE- the short hike there was fun but be prepared to get your shoes very dirty and covered in red clay. There was some cold water and snacks for the ride home as well. Great value for the money!

Phenomenal Experience - One of the best one-day trips I have ever done! and there is no better guide than Xander. Usually when you go to tours like this it oftentimes happens that guides just want to get it done as soon as possible and leave with the least effort, but our guide went far beyond and above! It was such a unique experience especially for people who like nature adventure and having a lot of fun, something once in a lifetime and every penny is worth it. The guide was very enthusiastic and adventurous but at the same time took care of us all and even took pictures of us at all the good places he showed us off the beaten track!

BEST TOUR EVER - The BEST tour ever. Truly an exhilarating experience and our tour guide Xander made it so enjoyable with the extended version of the tour. Every moment of the tour was very enjoyable and honestly a huge highlight of my trip! Highly recommend booking, most fun i’ve had in a while!

Hike - This tour is very worth it for the time, money, included transportation, rainforest experience, and natural beauty. However this particular hike is not for the faint of heart. You will walk about 50 minutes up, down, over, under and through mud. It is VERY slippery. You need to bring water shoes with grips. Don’t bring your nice sneakers you will ruin them completely and slip/ slide everywhere. The waterside was too dangerous to do on our day so we did not do it (which is fine the rip current was strong but just heads up), we still did the rope swing and jumped off the cliffs. If you are adventurous and have good mobility/ in decent shape, you will like it a lot. If you don’t want to get a nice workout in- don’t go.
