Go for it! - Our tour guide was very funny, helpful and full of life! He made sure to capture everyone’s special moments of going down the water slides, jumping off the cliff into the water and several pics in front of the water fall. It was a new and fun experience for us, we highly recommend. The finger foods were also delicious and we had to enjoy the beach.

Great experience! - I went with my friend and we both had a great time even though she didn’t go on the slides. Our tour guide Quinn was really helpful all the way through, I’d definitely take another tour with him!

Yunque trip - Hector was an amazing tour guide. He made sure we were all taken care of with water and snacks. If we needed anything he was right there to help or find help. My husband and I had a wonderful experience. The finger foods at Luquillo beach was very tasty. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Beware of transfer van - The details of the group trip were not what occurred. There was 28 people in the group, rather than 14 as initially stated, with two very old vans, worn out tires beat up and very poor AC. I was never notified where the van was picking up. Also received a text message in the morning that due to weather they had to move the group to next time, NOT TRUE. Nick was a good guide. If you have any back or neck issues I would recommend you do NOT attend this trip with this group.

We were late getting the... - We were late getting the tour started. That waterslide with the big rocks are extremely dangerous, Even walking down the hill is dangerous.Someone slipped and fell on a big rock. The tour went on . Once we got to the beach site & restaurant the owner was accommodating and offered a free shot. I didn’t care for the food at all. The guy that lead the tour was ok but he was very pushy about tips. Once given a tip he was still hounding the same people that had already given him one . I don’t think the tour was worth the money or safe at all.

Unprofessional/ Not Worth It - DO NOT RECOMMEND. I booked this excursion based on the fact that it has a 4.5 star rating out of 619 reviews and because the cruise ship I went on did not offer any fun outdoor excursions in Puerto Rico. However, I do not recommend this excursion. First of all, the pickup area is inaccurate. A day before the excursion I received an email detailing where I was supposed to wait. The excursion page online also states where customers have to wait to be picked up. The supposed area is in the valet area of a Marriott hotel, but the actual pick up was across the street in a corner where there was no sign and indication for pick up. Also, the truck that came to pick us up, had no logo or indication that they were the ones picking you up. If it wasn’t for the Marriott hotel valet team telling us that people usually get picked up across the street, we would not have known. We were also supposed to be in the pick up area 15 minutes before 12 PM, but the pick up people didn’t show up until 12:13. The driver did not introduce himself, and he did not speak to us for the entire 1 Hour drive from the Marriott hotel to the forest. We also had to stop for gas (this shouldn’t be a thing since people that book this excursion are many times on a time crunch since cruise ships leave at a specific time and this excursion was 5 hours long) and the A/C in the van was not cold. It was blowing out room temperature air. There were two water slides. Once we arrived at the rainforest, there was no direction, and there were no signs on what to do. We were escorted down a path by the driver to the rainforest waterslides. The waterslides do not seem safe. Even though the waterslides are smooth, there are a lot of rocks that can injure people. Nothing seemed prepared and organized for tourists to arrive and enjoy the waterslides. The driver then left the group behind in search for his phone because he supposedly lost it and spent the rest of the time calling someone on another phone trying to get a new phone. He also lost the other group members because he was too busy minding his own business. There was no interaction between the driver and the group besides asking us if we’re OK. The only positive experience from the first waterslide was that the pool area was large enough to swim and relax, and you can also jump into the water from a top a couple of rocks, but even then that’s dangerous because nothing is prepared for tourist to do this. The tourist just do this because we are told that we can. We then walked to the second waterslide, which took about five minutes. The second waterslide looks exactly like the photo thumbnail for this excursion. It’s one slide that lands in very shallow water. You do not have enough space in this area to swim or relax because the current pushes you away and the water is very shallow. At its deepest area it reached my chest. The deepest area is immediately following the slide. The slide is also unsafe as you twist and turn towards the end. Again, even though the slide is very smooth, there is a lot of room for injury. We then walked up the trail we took to get to the waterslides and drove to the beach. The beach is not worth it. It does not look like a very nice tropical spot. There is a restaurant where you eat authentic food, but not worth the drive. We then had to take an Uber back because we would not reach the cruise port on time due to all the delays. Mind you my ship arrived at 10 AM and left at 6:30 PM. The excursion was supposed to start at 12 PM and finish by 5 PM. I do not recommend this excursion. Our driver never introduced himself, did not give us any direction once we got to the waterslides and did not interact with the entire group. There were other groups with other drivers, and those drivers interacted with their groups, but I still don’t think this excursion is worth the $70 and I also don’t think it is safe. The waterslide area seems very shady. The waterslide entrance is in the middle of a residential rural area. The pick up area and the way we get picked up was very shady. The only reason this review gets one star is because I can’t give it zero stars. P.S. it’s a minimum 50 minute drive from the pick up spot to the rainforest, a 10-20 minute drive from the rainforest to the beach and then another minimum 50 minute drive from the beach to the drop off point.
