We only had a few days in... - We only had a few days in Old San Juan and took this tour towards the end of our stay. It gave me such an appreciation for the city. I realized there was so much more to the city than what we had seen. It made me want to come back to walk the beautiful streets and enjoy the magnificent San Juan Bay. Thank you Carlos for wetting my appetite. We hope to return..

Old San Juan Walking Tour - We did the 4pm tour. Guillermo was great! So knowledgeable and funny. The pace was perfect and we made a bathroom stop. Old San Juan was beautiful. We saw the fortresses, the home of Ponce De Leon, and more. We saw the outside of the Cathedral but wish we could have gone in. We would never have learned so much on our own.

Great tour with Guillermo - We loved our tour with Guillermo! Ended up getting into a rerouting situation on a Sunday tour—check for weekend road closures if you’re coming into the city—and Guillermo was super accommodating.
Pace was pretty balanced and chill, perfect for teens adults, but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend for kids under 13.
Guillermo was a generous tour guide with a good sense of humor and was able to answer any question. He also shared about his own experience growing up in PR when prompted, which is always the best part of any tour experience IMO! It was our first time visiting Puerto Rico and this was definitely one of the highlights.

Walking trip was amazing - Our guide Guiermo(spelling) was amazing. He had such a thorough understanding of this island and its history. He made it very enjoyable and interesting. This is a must see experience.

This is a general history... - This is a general history based walking tour that goes at a good pace. It outlines the whole of Old San Juan so you can learn your bearings of the area which is nice, and goes over many different historically relevant facts to help you appreciate the city more. Roughly 5-6 miles of walking, but with plenty of breaks for stories and plenty of shade to keep you out of the sun. I do however wish our guide used one of those portable speakers so we could hear him better as the natural noises surrounding the group setting tended to mute out his voice several times. And also comparing this walking tour to another one we had in the past, wish this tour gave a little more information. Perhaps they just didn't want to bombard us with information, but I personally enjoy the information overloading when I can get it because it shows the guides have a little more passion. Good tour overall and was a great way to spend time with family.

Good tour, but much longer than planned. - Guillermo was our guide and was extremely knowledgeable about the area. However, we waited 20 minutes past start time to start the tour because he waited on delayed guests. Then we went until noon - not 11am - so the tour went an hour longer than planned.
Definitely should’ve started on time, and if the decision was to wait for gas, the tour should have been cut short to still get us back on time.

Some reservation rules are not considerate of the customer. - I made the reservations for the Walking tour the day before I was to go so I didn’t even have 24 hours to cancel. Then I realize that we had to catch a fair and I really would not have enough time to do the walking tour and leave San Juan to get down to Siba and canceled right away and still charged with no consideration of my explanation. .
