Very interesting and informative tour of this historic city! - This was a good tour of “Old” San Juan. Our guide Daniel was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the 500+ history of Puerto Rico. The walking involved was moderate and well paced with plenty of stops in the shade.

Danny was very... - Danny was very knowlegeable and friendly and we felt like we learned a lot—even though we didn’t have a lot of time for “stops” during the tour, we were able to decide to go back and do a number of different things later in the day and it was nice to be able to do that on our own

Highly recommend - Daniel was a great guide for this walking tour. His itinerary was perfectly balanced between stopping at various points of interest and walking at a good pace through the city. He explained the history and culture of PR in a way that kept our interest and was happy to answer all our questions. This was a great way to learn about the island.

Nice Walking Tour - This tour was perfect! We had a guide all to ourselves and was able to make extra stops to rest and to buy snacks and drinks. We learned so much about the history of Puerto Rico. Would absolutely recommend - don't forget to pack water!

Great guide and tour - A great waling tour of Old San Juan and worth every penny. Daniel was a really great guide with funny stories along with amazing knowledge of facts about all the sites he showed us. I'd 100% recommend everyone visiting Puerto Rico to do this as we would have otherwise missed loads of great stuff and probably wandered around aimlessly.

Insightful and Enjoyable Old San Juan Walking Tour - We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour of Old San Juan with Danny as our guide! The tour lasted about 2.5 hours, which was the perfect length for us, including two teens. While the adults found it interesting, the teens were a bit less engaged. We explored the vibrant streets, learned about the history of the island, and saw Picasso’s artwork in a museum. We stopped at a local farmers market where we tried fresh coconut water and fresh bread. We spotted (and pet!) numerous stray cats, which are well cared for by the locals. Danny was energetic and passionate. You can tell he genuinely loves doing this. I’d definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area.

Great overview of Old Town - The meeting point was easy to find (seems this is the popular meeting spot for many tours) and the tour guides knew each other so they were helping direct people to the appropriate group. Danny was our tour guide and there were approximately 14 people in our group. It was not a difficult walk at all although I would suggest you wear sensible shoes as you will be walking over cobblestones and climbing steps and much of the pavement is in a bit of disarray. We really enjoyed all of the stops, Danny did a great job explaining history, answering questions and touching on a little bit of the political issues that are happening there today. you will see some amazing views of the water as you get to the top of the hill and have an opportunity to take plenty of photos. What is nice about this tour is that he gives you the information on the different museums, which ones are free, and several of those we walked in, but those that are not he is able to tell you the cost and their hours and you have the ability to go back and visit at your own pace. we definitely want to return to the smaller fort although he said it is six levels and if you really want to do it justice, it will take several hours so we have that on our return to list. it was nice that it wasn’t so blazingly hot yesterday, although it was humid, he did a great job making sure when we did stop to chat that we were in shade when possible. he did have water to offer as well as we had a restroom break at one of the museums halfway through the tour. You’re in Old town so there is plenty to do and see after you finish this, including amazing places to eat and drink. He did take the time to point out his favorite restaurants and bars. We would definitely recommend this tour for anyone who is in San Juan for the first time and would like to put their itinerary together for the rest of their visit. Thank you!
