This adventure tour is the finest in Puerto Rico, as it completely bypasses the island’s tourist traps and focuses solely on incredible locations known only to locals. The tour includes two stops: Cueva del Indio and Charco Azul Canyon, each offering a unique experience. Cueva del Indio (Indian Cave) is a seaside cave that we explore, but reaching it requires a walk over the stunning seven arches rock formations. The views of the island and the sea from this vantage point are truly awe-inspiring. Entering the cave itself feels like a journey back in time, long before Columbus. The Tainos intricately carved the cave walls, and we have the opportunity to see these up close. Charco Azul is perhaps even more spectacular. These are river caves, shaped by a river’s flow against the stone over millions of years. We swim through caves, hike, and have the option to cliff jump at the end. The entire day is packed with fun and adventure.
