Definitely worth it. Brian is spectacular! - We booked this very last minute, as our original plans changed because of Hurricane Helene. Brian was our guide and is outstanding. We covered a lot of highlights that I’m not sure we would’ve seen without a tour guide. The trails were difficult in that you have to climb some rocks and it’s muddy, but if you’re a basically decent hiker, you can definitely do it. He took us to Luquillo for lunch afterwards and had a dish that’s probably in the top 5 of any dish I’ve ever had, in any country, ever. Brian captured lots of photos since it was suggested not to bring phones. We were back with plenty of time in the day to get some more sightseeing in (we opted to nap instead) and ended the night at a fun bar in Santurce with live music and dancing based on Brian’s recommendation. Definitely worth the money, and then some! Thanks again, Brian, for an amazing day!

Highly recommended - Our guide Brian was a fount of knowledge. We learned so much about El Yunque and the history of Puerto Rico in general. We met many other groups walking the path through the rainforest and all of the guides knew each other and were very friendly and helpful. we definitely felt like we were in good hands.

Amazing Time - Carlos was our guide and he was FANTASTIC! He made our tour so memorable and made us feel very safe which was important for this type of excursion. He is very knowledgeable about his island and he takes pride in his work. Our tour only had 5 people so he can focus on each one of us and I recommend that you take a smaller group tour it’s worth it. Had a blast, El Yunque is beautiful thanks again Carlos!!!

Beautiful forest, excellent guide!!! - This was such an AMAZING tour - it exceeded my expectations on all levels. I went into this excursion not FULLY knowing what to expect, but I trusted that with my fitness level I’d be ok. And I was! BUT please note that there is swimming, up AND down hill hiking, some rock climbing, and as a person who is afraid of heights, there are some HEIGHTS lol. BUT our tour guide, Mitch, was a dream. Outside of the curbside pickup for our group of 4 (1 couple, and me and another young lady were solo travelers), Mitch was friendly, knowledgeable, and EAGER to reach us about his country and the rainforest itself. PLEASE pay attention to the instructions in the text and be mindful about the shoes you wear - you need some shoes with GRIP (Tevas don’t cut it imo lol) but still light weight in the water. Overall, EXCELLENT experience and would def do it again. If you’ve never hiked though go on one beforehand lol.

Awesome experience!! - From the start, Brian was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about the rainforest and some history of Puerto Rico. Brian tailored the hike to our group's skill level, ensuring everyone felt comfortable. His storytelling added depth to the experience, making the history and ecology of El Yunque come alive. What stood out most was Brian's passion for conservation and the rainforest’s natural beauty. Brian took the time to answer all our questions and offered great tips for making the most of our visit. I highly recommend Brian! Thanks again!!

EXCELLENT Tour! - We had such a blast! Way better than we even anticipated! Mitchell was an incredible guide- even the drive from San Juan was interesting because of all of the historical background he shared with us. The hike was so fun- not too challenging (as long as you’re in decent shape) and the water slides were SO MUCH FUN! 10/10 would recommend. I would do this again.

What an amazing experience - What an adventure! Or tour guide Andrea was so knowledgeable, patient with the kids, kept us safe through the rocks. The water slide and rope swing were our favorite part. What an amazing experience.

A must do while in San Juan! - Definitely worth it! Loved the experience and Carlos was a great tour guide. My only disappointment was with the choice of lunch venue. Very overpriced food for such a rundown food stand. (The menu prices were the same as a nice restaurant in Old San Juan). Definitely targeted towards tourists. I wish our guide had picked a local restaurant to give us a taste of where the locals fine (with locals’ prices!). Otherwise, it was an awesome excursion!
