Fantastic El Yunque experience! - Wow, what a fantastic experience this was! There was an unforeseen road closure the day we were supposed to do our tour and the team at Hidden Excursions PR communicated so well, and found us another tour guide for the next day. Andrea was an incredible tour guide! We saw large tour groups that did not get the service we got. Not only did Andrea help us through some challenging climbing, she stopped and took time to teach us about Puerto Rico, and tell us about the plants we were seeing, we got so much. Our group ranged in age from 26 to 61. I had hand surgery a few months ago and was still able to do all the climbing, especially with Andrea‘s assistance. I would call this a moderate climb; it was a little bit of a workout, but completely doable even for a moderately active person like me. We are so glad we took this particular tour; it was a perfect experience!

Andrea- Best Guide Out There! - I recently took part in a rainforest hiking tour in Puerto Rico to celebrate a bachelorette trip, and it was absolutely fantastic! The hike itself was a perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and natural beauty. The air was fresh, and the sounds of the forest were a soothing backdrop to our hike. Our guide, Andrea, was truly amazing. She was not only friendly and approachable, but also incredibly knowledgeable about the flora, fauna, and history of the area. She made the experience even more special by sharing fascinating facts about the rainforest, pointing out unique plants, and even helping us spot wildlife. Her energy and enthusiasm were contagious, making the hike fun and engaging for everyone in the group, and her attention to our group’s pace and comfort was much appreciated. The trail was moderately challenging, with some sections that required careful footing, but Andrea made sure to keep things lighthearted and fun. Along the way, we stopped at beautiful lookout points and a stunning waterfall where we could take a dip and enjoy the surroundings. It was the perfect spot to relax and snap some photos to remember the day. This hike was a great way to celebrate the bride-to-be and connect with nature in a meaningful way. Andrea made the day unforgettable, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Whether you’re an adventure seeker or just looking for a peaceful escape, this rainforest hiking tour is the perfect way to experience Puerto Rico’s natural beauty. Highly recommended! Packing essentials: -shoes with grip -sandals to change into -towel -second pair of clothes No need for phone on the trail, Andrea took fantastic photos of us during the whole experience!!!

Exhilarating and Lush Hike with Andrea - Private tour was the perfect speed for my wife and I - it gave us the flexibility to take our time in a way other larger tours couldn't, really helpful with my mild mobility issue. Andrea is a firecracker! Her passion is obvious and her care for the environment and inclusive experience for everyone on the tour (and even in other groups) is clear! Andrea made this a very personalized and guided experience - sharing her knowledge and suggesting safe footholds on challenging paths which gave us confidence in a way being with a larger group wouldn't have. Know that this is a somewhat strenuous and messy experience so bring nothing that you wouldn't want submerged in water and covered in clay. Our favorite excursion of the trip!

Beautiful walk, calming chilly water pool, then water slide an experience - Our guide Pablo was amazing. He prepared us for what we would do. First stop pu fresh fruit & avocado to share as a snack. Next - our drive seeing lots of greenery then walking down thru it to the flowing water. "Embrace the mud"... Reminder: Don't forget water shoes to get into the refreshing water. Need good traction shoes too for walking trails. They get very muddy & slippery. I decided to try the waterfall slide. What an exhilarating experience! Definitely recommend this Viator excursion.

Andreas did a phenomenal... - Andreas did a phenomenal job telling us about native Puerto Rican plant and animal species as we hiked. He showed us where to step in more difficult sections of the hike and chatted with us the whole way. The natural water slides, cliff diving and rope swing were so fun. Such an amazing experience and the highlight of our trip.

More than just sightseeing - We went on a fabulous trip to El Yunque with Carlos and I can’t say enough about it! The hike in was muddy (don’t wear shoes you can’t hose off) but it was absolutely worth it. Carlos was filled with little tidbits of trivia about the landscape and plants as we hiked in and served as both cheerleader and photographer when it came to the cliff jumping and rope swing. Afterwards he took us to a wonderful restaurant and provided recommendations on the local fare. We would strongly recommend this trip (and Carlos specifically) to anyone who wants to experience the rainforest.

Carols for the winnnn!!! 10/10 we recommend - Carlos is the truth!! He was so inviting and knowledgeable. He kept us on schedule without making us feel rushed. The hike is interesting to say the least but it was fun and doable!!! Carlos gave us great guidance to keep us safe and the small group setting made Carlos flexible to ensure we all were acting safely and keeping up with short breaks to learn about some rainforest facts. My bf and I loved this experience because of Carlos. From his hyping during photos, to the actual photos, and the hike… we recommend. Book him! This ain't sponsored this is the truth.

Magical experience in El Yunque - This tour exceeded my expectations. I was glad to be on a small group tour with Andrea than be in a larger crowd. El Yunque is magical and we loved learning about the rainforest plants, seeing the clay rocks and most of all the water activities. I recommend Puerto Rico and this tour to all of my friends as soon as we got home. We felt safe and had an amazing day!! Thank you Andrea!

Great days- kids favorite excursion - We had Brian as our guide and he was great. We traveled with three kids, 13,10,and 7. Our 7 year old was only able to do the first half of the tour partly because she is a VERY slow and cautious walker and partly because she was challenged by the fist part and the second part was more difficult. That was fine though as we had extra time in the natural pools to relax. The others in our party did the second hike with the waterfall slide and pictures looked beautiful Please note this tour is on private land and not the national forest, however it was beautiful and we were not disappointed. There were many other groups on this tour which was out of anyone’s control, but the reason for giving 4 instead of 5 stars. Our cruise ship caused us to start later than would be typical and it was crowded. Finally, we stopped at the beach kiosks for lunch. Per Brian’s recommendation we ate at Eidelweiss. It was NOT Geman food as the name would suggest. It was seafood mostly. We had Mofogo and crab with rice, both were so flavorful! Would definitely recommend the restaurant!
