Additional Information

Embark on an adventure through Puerto Rico’s waterfalls, where you’ll explore the scenic mountains, experience the island’s countryside, as well as immerse yourself in its unique culture and local delicacies. Traverse comfortably in a 14-seater air-conditioned van, as you journey 1700 feet above sea level into the Puerto Rican mountains (an approximate 35-45 minute drive from San Juan).

Prepare for the day’s crowning moment, a 130-foot waterfall, veiled from many visitors and known predominantly by locals. Expect the trail towards it to last between 40-60 minutes, dependent on your physical readiness. It should be noted, this IS NOT A Hike for beginners, that being said, it’s not overwhelmingly challenging either. It truly encapsulates what one hopes for in a genuine woodland hike.

Post hike, we will introduce you to a traditional Puerto Rican restaurant where you can enjoy a meal (self-funded). After satisfying your appetite and paying your bill, we’ll provide a safe drive back to your lodging.

Fun but challenging - Very nice hike. Manuel was a great guide. So funny and energetic!! This is definitely more than an average hike though. It is quite difficult. There’s no path. It’s over rocks which are very slippery at times.
