A Gem of a Find! Highly Recommend - This was a great find! We went in August and it was less busy, weather was great. David was our driver/guide, he was incredible! Took us to the best spots and captured pictures of us. The crew during the balloon ride were great. Our Captain of the hot air balloon brought us close to the pyramids and gave us an amazing view. I would recommend this company compared to the others, especially with how efficient David was. He uses your time wisely and was very personalized. If you can, request David!

Una experience excelente 🤓 - David was a great tour guide. He picked us up from our hotel, was a great converser and had a lot of knowledge of Mexico City and its history. In Teotihuacán, he showed us around the pyramids and gave us great explanations, as well as took us to parts we may have missed. Overall, it was an incredible experience and I highly recommend booking this experience.

Wonderful way to see teotihuacán! - Very high touch and attentive. Our driver, David, also gave us tips on the best photos to take so we didn’t even bought looking at the photos for sale.

A MUST SEE and DO in MEXICO COTY - I cannot express enough how amazing this trip was and the SERVICE WAS VIP!!! From early on time pick up, to a great team at the balloon site(good coffee )and the views were incredible and inspiring. The knowledge of our guide DAVID was the best. He was attentive, helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast buffet was really good and good selection. I highly recommend!! Request DAVID

Must go! 2nd biggest hot air balloon ride in the world! - Amazing experience, one of a kind and totally worth your time, crew there is very nice and courteous, defiantly get package with pictures and drone video. Breakfast spot after has delicious traditional foods. So much better to have a private car driving you around.

Well-organized, comprehensive tour with a fulfilling Mexican and American breakfast - David was our guide and driver. He arrived on time to pick us up from our hotel, drive safely and swiftly to the balloon site, and spent time sharing stories and facts while we waited for the fog to clear for a safe takeoff. We enjoyed coffee together and watched the crews assemble the hot air balloons.
After an amazing balloon ride, David brought us to a warm and welcoming family restaurant, where we enjoyed huevos and nopales and tamales and chocolate, among other breakfast delights.
David then led a comprehensive tour of Teotihuacan and took many photos of my husband and me, which we cherish. Afterwards he drove us back to CDMX, where we arrived around 1pm.
We had a wonderful time and highly recommend David and this package!

Loved the flight but wish I'd booked a different agency - The balloon experience itself was wonderful - which was run by a different company & included in the price of this booking.
The 'VIP' portion with private driver was not the premium experience we'd hoped for & felt overpriced at the end.
When coordinating a sunrise event - timing is key.
Our driver arrived 10 minutes late & was not fully informed or knowledgable about the setup of the experience & was not what I would consider a confident host. (we were not assigned David, whom all the rave reviews are for)
Unfortunately, our driver wasted precious time scrambling to figure out the photo options for us and we were not included in the sunrise photo session with the flying company. Ugh!
If booking this experience -
- perhaps make sure you get David - based on the reviews, he is the best one on the team
- if photos are important - make sure to participate in the flying company's photo options as they're taken very professionally & can make for incredible memories. You will have the option to buy them at the end, and they are fabulous! We regret not having been part of the twilight / dawn photos.
The breakfast with this tour was just so/so as it was buffet style - not a great selling feature, maybe pack some granola bars if you're selective.

Do NOT use Paseo Olmedo - Paseo Olmedo cancelled the tour without a clear explanation after 9pm the night before the tour. My phone was off so I could sleep needing to be up early.
I checked my phone at 2am when I woke up. Probably because I had a bad feeling about no contact. It is unexpected and unusual that my pick up place was never acknowledged and a question I had went unanswered even though those things were asked well in advance of departure (2 days to be precise)
Anyway, when I learned that my tour was cancelled very unexpectedly and at the last minute I tried to contact the operator. He tried to shame me for expressing disappointment and not understanding why my tour was cancelled.
I then turned to Viator for help. Juneishen an agent for them I think found me a perfectly acceptable solution quickly. The day was saved. There are LOTS of tour operators for Teotihuacan. Avoid Paseo Olmedo unless you like to be gas lighted and treated badly or just ignored.
