Reviewed on 2025-03-01: Great Teotihuacán tour - We had a great tour of Teotihuacán with Rubin. They communicated well on What’s App prior to the tour and the 7am pick up was right on time. We arrived at the park at 8am just as it opened and it was not crowded at all, despite it being the weekend. Rúbin was knowledgeable and friendly. We went at a good pace and we did not feel overwhelmed.
A Taste of Local Culture and Cuisine
On Sunday, immerse yourself in the local culture with the Culture and Cuisine Tour. This unique experience takes you beyond the typical sightseeing tour, offering a taste of unconventional local treats like cactus candy and historic pre-Hispanic brews. The tour begins at the House of Tiles in Mexico City, where you’ll embark on a journey through the countryside to the majestic Teotihuacán pyramids.
As you explore the Pyramid of the Moon and the Pyramid of the Sun, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the history and architecture of these iconic structures. The tour also includes a visit to the Temple of Quetzalcoatl, where you can climb to the top and feel the energy that flows through the pyramids. Afterward, enjoy a homemade lunch with a local family, sampling genuine dishes cooked and presented by them.

He shared a lot of interesting information. The Pyramids were breathtaking and he made sure we saw the third one which is a trek but well worth it (you are still allowed to climb it). After the pyramids, we went into town for Pulque tasting and to see different types of obsidian art. We then went to another town for a delicious lunch with a local family.
