Well worth it - We were in Fano (Las Marches) about 65km away and took a few hours to get to know the oldest Republic in the world. It dates back to 301 AD. We moved by car. The trip is pleasant. Free parking is available on the hillside less than 300 metres from the cable lane leading to the city, on top of Mount Titano, whose height of over 700 metres above sea level provides fabulous views. It's the great Attraction of the place. The whole old city sits on the mountain and there are three towers to see. But the main Attraction is to walk along its streets, buy something (there are many shops and places to eat) and enjoy the medieval atmosphere and the views

Between sky, earth and sea - Uphill route but spectacular view, you don't know what to photograph first. When you are near the towers the view is something indescribable. You can breathe history in this ancient Republic. Along the route you will find shops of all kinds and, as it is a free port, you do not pay VAT.

A jump in the past - Multi-storey car park with lift. Clean streets and lots of friendliness. The ancient and modern that sit side by side without clashing. 3 museums, the towers, the basilica and the squares. Many souvenir shops, breathtaking views and the cable car. Bring comfortable shoes because the streets are steep. There is something to eat for every budget: from piadina to gourmet dishes, the choice is yours.

I enjoyed walking along the narrow streets and cobbled alleys - This walking tour of San Marino enchanted my with the heritage and it's fascinating history narrated by the tour guide. The Gothic style Public Palace was interesting and walking along the narrow streets and cobbled alleys was like going back in time. I bought some souvenirs from a local shop. If you can put on your comfy shoes and are ready to walk, this tour is worth the time.
