Amazing experience! - We booked an all inclusive package. The car came to pick us up from the hotel on time. Balloon ride was magical. It felt amazing. Highly recommended. We did a toast(sparkling wine) with the pilot after the flight. After that we went for breakfast. It was fine. Nothing crazy or extraordinary. It was followed by Obsidian and Mague artifacts display. This was interesting but it can be skipped. After this, we went to Teotihuacan. Our guide was good. He explained the history and the importance of the place. We spent about 1-1.5 hrs there which was enough. Overall, it was an amazing experience. I’d recommend it to others too.

Definitely a Must Do when in Mexico City! - This was a memorable experience! From flying directly over the pyramids on a hot air balloon to learning about obsidian and pulque from a local and heading to walk the pyramid ruins. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, they were all very knowledgeable.

Good overall but wasted time - We did the balloon ride and the tour of the Teotihuacan ruins. Both of those were great and well organized. After the balloon ride, we sat for over 30 minutes while they sold photos of the ride. Then we were taken to a buffet brunch which was ok but very touristy with mariachis. This was followed by an obligatory trip to the shop selling artesanias, with explanations of agave extraction, obsidian, etc. The people were nice and the explanation was interesting, but there was no way to opt out of what was another effort to extract more money. Plus, the goods were overpriced. Finally we went to the ruins where you can buy many of the same handicrafts directly from the people who make them. The whole trip was close to 9 hours and probably could have cut at least 3 hours off of that without the waiting around and selling.
