Visitors are taken on an immersive journey through time, learning about the artisanal wine production process, along with intriguing curiosities and anecdotes.
During this exclusive tour of the 16th-century traditional winery, guests will enjoy tastings of two wines: a young wine and an aged wine made from the “rufete” grape variety, paired with seasonal Iberian acorn-fed sausages, village bread, and olives.
At the conclusion of the visit, a secret that has been hidden for five centuries will be unveiled.
Guests will also have the chance to purchase wines and other local organic products directly from the winery.
The Medieval Winery is a true gem of San Martin del Castañar, discreetly located in the heart of the Sierra de Béjar and France Biosphere Reserve, near the entrance to the Natural Park of the Batuecas and Sierra de France.
