Fun, relaxed, professional - Crystian was so fun and put me right at ease from the first greeting. As a single woman traveling on my own, this is important- he helped look my best and express all the parts of me! I got to see some beautiful hidden San Miguel gems about town on the way- I feel like I got to hang out with a friend while in San Miguel- thank you, Don Crystian 👯‍♀️

Guided Photo Walk in San Miguel de Allende - Way past expectations! I can enthusiastically recommend Crystian as a guide and teacher for casual or beginning photographers as well as more experienced shooters. His English is excellent as well. I am an enthusiastic amateur photographer who was looking for a guided photo walk while on a visit to SMA. I booked with Crystian not realizing he was offering to take Instagram ready photos of me! Yikes. I hate photos of me!! I got in touch with him and asked if instead he would help me take photos of other people - Street Photography. He was quick to respond and enthusiastic. He loves Street Photography! We met on time as planned (in contact through WhatsApp). He was eager to get to know me and what I was looking for in this experience. We spent the contracted 1 1/2 hours and then a bit more - and more - 4 hours altogether. He is well informed about photography and an excellent, patient, enthusiastic and playful teacher. Cystian knows SMA and has contacts useful for getting access to interesting vantages for shooting. Most important, he was so very helpful in advancing my photographic practice. I had several more days in SMA. My photos were much improved! BTW - He also took some lovely images of me!

Buyer beware! - Buyer beware!!! My fiancée and I booked a pregnancy photo shoot with Crystian while in San Miguel. I should have known He was going to be trouble when he was an hour late, and then blamed the "lighting and shading" and how it wasn't a hood time yet as a reason for his for untimeliness. He lives there and should be familiar with those variables, so why schdeule us for a certain time and then say it wasn't a good time later on. Fishy. It was the last day of our trip, so at that point we had no choice but to use him. He promised us a photo shoot with multiple locations and wardrobe changes. He definitely took his time taking multiple shots at the 3 different locations he selected for us. When it came time to pay, he said the extra locations took extra time and would cost extra money, but only if we wanted the extra pictures. Basically, he would hold our photos hostage and did not honor the price he quoated us. Again, what choice does one have at that point... Disappoint my fiance and not get those shots of her? He's a snake. He also told us he would send the file with all of the photos, and we would send him the top 40 so he could touch them up on the computer. This was September 6, just after Labor Day. He sent the file with just over 200 pictures, but he probably took closer to 3 or 400. That was almost 2 weeks after we got home. We picked our top 40 and sent them back.... Here we are, and it's almost November (our baby is due in January), and he still hasn't sent us the touched up photos. If I could go back in time, I would've told myself to use someone else or wait until we got back home to California to take those photos. My fiancée is heartbroken that the pictures will not be ready in time for the baby shower and probably not for the holidays.
