Muertos History - Leo was a great guide opening SMA up to visitors and showing us how the traditions and people celebrate. Not everything was open due to the administration but he made it enjoyable.

Fun Day of the Dead Tour! - Very fun walking tour of the area around the center of SMA, finishing at an ideal spot along the catrina parade route. Got to see a very cool altar and learn about Dia de los Muertos. Alex was a great guide and managed our group well through all the chaos!

Not worth the money - The tour guide was informative but we weren't able to go to the cemetery which defeated the purpose of the tour. You could do the other sights on your own. Not worth the money. They should have let us know ahead of time about the cemetery and it was never mentioned until one of the other parties asked.

Disappointed - The main reason we signed up for the tour was we were going to a cemetery to see how the Day of The Dead is celebrated. About 1/3 of the way into the tour I asked about the cemetery visit and she said it wasn’t allowed or some other reason. We should have been notified ahead of time. Almost everything we did, we had already seen during the day.

Disappointing - Somewhat disappointing. Alex was very nice and knowledgeable about the basic history of the town and the Day of the dead traditions. We rushed through the streets and we only saw one significant altar and another very small one). Because of the Covid restrictions we did not see any more and we did not go to the cemetery. I’m not sure why. It was described as a two hour tour and it was less than 1.5 hours. I believe it was not worth the money.

Not worth the money on November 1st - We were very disappointed with the tour on November 1st. First no guide was at the meeting point then it took 20 minutes to divide us into groups. Then nothing that was promised was open - no crypts, closed cemeteries, no ofrendas on the square. We walked a few blocks to a nice ofrenda in a hotel then back to the square to watch a free parade - nothing we could not have done on our own. The guide was nice, but it seems to have been the fault of the organizers not knowing what was going on.

Refund our Tour - Please refund my tour. First the tour guides were late & unorganized. Then they proceeded to tell us the most of the tour sights were closed ( cemetery, church etc) Our lady guide was very sweet, but not as informative as we had hope considering the history of San Miguel. Our overall experience was very disappointing. And we ask that you refund the whole cost of our tour, as there really wasn’t a tour.
