Amazing views on horseback - What an experience! We had a great ride— it began at the farm, journeying beneath hills and cliffs. There is a bit of a climb to reach the summit. Despite our negligible experience on horses, the horses navigated the terrain with ease. They were very well behaved and easy to ride- we laughed as the only issue we had was the horses pausing to eat the occasional patch of grass.
The sunset view was unbelievable. The vast beauty of the valley was incredible from the peak and a perfect spot to pause for photos. We even saw a rainbow as a storm was rolling through the valley.
The ride into town was through authentic neighborhoods. We felt safe, but you do pass through the outskirts of town. Inside the city center, it was lovely to ride the cobblestones streets.
Our guides were very competent, friendly, and helpful. I would definitely recommend!

Fun, scenic and exciting! - My group of 5 women, some with no horseback riding experience, truly enjoyed this adventure. Starting from a ranch outside of town, riding up a rocky trail to hilltop, and down into the streets of San Miguel gave a variety of sites to take in. The sunset photos at the top are spectacular. Views of town, valley and mountains were stunning for most of the way.
The 4 cowboy guides were very professional and took good care that everyone was safe. Given that we are all over 60 and I many novices this was appreciated! The leader did a great job communicating and took photos and video at the same time. The horses were calm and well cared for.
I highly recommend this adventure. It was a Friday, town was busy with traffic, so town was not our favorite part. Total time on the horse was about 90 minutes, which was long for some. Consider going on a weekday. But go!

Beautiful views safe horses and awesome guides. - Our tour was :4 ppl total - my spouse and I and another couple. Guides were very friendly and engaging helpful and knew their stuff. One of them even had Kentucky Derby experience. They took lots of photos of us at beautiful spots with stunning views of the city. The horses were “bomb proof” and didn’t even react to loud cars or barking dogs! They were open to letting us go as fast as we liked, but the horses were trained to go super safe and slow! The tour is part countryside and then a lot of back roads in the city’s residential area. Romantic and fun. The ride was Just long enough for your butt to start getting tired/sore so I prefer 2 hour rides. Bring cash tip for these guys as they will deserve it!

Amazing! Incredible experience and wonderful staff. - Amazing!! Very friendly staff. They make sure that you’re safe and feeling comfortable on the ride. The horses were very desensitized and calm. Riding through downtown San Miguel was soooooo beautiful. They even took us up to the top of this cliff to get the BEST view of the city. Totally amazing. Highly recommended.

Cantina Crawl on Horseback through San Miguel de Allende - Nicholas and his partner were superb! We had the most fun ever on the Cantina Crawl! We loved every minute of it and have been telling everyone about the wonderful experience! Well done, Coyote Canyon!!

San Miguel via Horseback - My girlfriends and I were in San Miguel for our first time and we thought this would be a really fun and unique way to explore the old town. It surpassed our expectations. The guides were great, the horses were easy to ride and we had an absolute blast. Very cool experience and I would highly recommend.

SMA horse ride tour - Our guide was very helpful in assisting us how to ride and move through SMA. The scenery of SMA on top of the hill during sunset was amazing and very romantic! I highly recommend this tour!

Fabulous perspective on the city - This was such a great way to get a different perspective on the city & its neighborhoods. The horses & guides were excellent! Not to mention the sunset was amazing! Highly recommend!

Absolutely best adventure in San Miguel! Do not miss it. - The sounds of horses on cobblestone streets of San Miguel is incredible and so is this exceptional company. The two cowboys were pure professionals and the horses well cared for. Appreciate assistance getting off and on the horses and it was our favorite activity in San Miguel!

Sunset Ride Wed 5:45-7:45PM Sep 2023, Amazing! Coyote Canyon Adventures - Highly recommend, best activity in Centro of San Miguel de Allende. 2 guides watched us beginner riders closely. Scenic with varying terrain from valley climbing a small steep hill, they took photos and video, ending through city neighborhood. Gave each 10% tip 200 pesos.
