Great day in natural surroundings - Well organized, safe horseback riding in the beautiful countryside. We felt well-cared for by Beth and her team. The ranch was in the area of La Canada, and the ride took us through trails in the countryside thru areas of cactus, the canyon, and then back thru the town. The horses were great, we had 2 cowboys with us who helped us. Pace was a leisurely walk, which was great, and they asked if we wanted to go faster at times, with some trotting, which was fun. After riding, we had homemade lunch prepared for us at the ranch, which was delicious. Then, we were transported to the La Gruta hot springs, where we spent about 2 hours enjoying pools with different water temperatures. Perfect relaxation after riding! Then we came back to San Miguel after our excellent adventure.

Authentic and fun experience - We had a great experience with Beth and her team. It was one of the best trail riding experiences I have had. Beth and the cowboys were engaging and made the experience very fun. Appreciated the small group size and tailoring the experience to the riders’ levels. The scenery was absolutely stunning. The horses knew the terrain and it was a very comfortable ride. And the lunch afterward was great. I would highly recommend.

Great day with Beth! - Really great tour with Beth! She’s an American who is filled with great info about San Miguel, aside from being a great guide. We felt like we got a truly authentic experience on real trails (her partners are local cowboys) for 6 miles! The horses were well cared for and healthy. The tour was followed by a delicious lunch and a few hours at a local hot spring (which was very hot!). Highly recommend this tour!

Best Horseback Riding experience in San Miguel - Beth and her cowboys were amazing. My wife and I had a great experience. We were picked up at the Rosewood and 2.5 hr ride through the beautiful desert of Mexico. Then a wonderful lunch and off to the hot springs. The combo option was great for us. We highly recommend this adventure.

Wonderful day of Horses & Hot Springs! - Beth is a wonderful guide. The day started with a pickup at our hotel and private van ride 30 minutes out of town to a small ranch. My wife and 7/9 year old boys have just a little riding experience, and we were pleased that each boy got their own Cowboy to guide them along! The ride itself was 2.5 hours through the countryside, with nice views of the valley. After the ride, we had a lovely lunch at the ranch, which everyone enjoyed. The 2nd part of the day is VERY different, as Beth gives you the choice of 3 different Hot Springs locations. We went with her favorite, which was a large facility with many different baths/pools/locations and a pretty much 100% Mexican crowd. Ended up being the perfect way to sooth those sore muscles after the ride.

Incredible day trip - Book this tour! It was one of the highlights of our two week vacation across Mexico. Beth is an absolute joy who truly loves her job and living in San Miguel. The horseback trail had incredible scenery (especially the canyon in the second half) and was perfectly fine for beginners. Lunch at the small ranch was delicious home style cooking and had lots of vegetarian (and dairy free) options. The hot springs were more like public pools than natural springs but still unique and really enjoyable, and you can order beer and cocktails. Overall communication was excellent, our pick up was prompt and we were kept informed throughout the day of what was planned. Be prepared to tip your horseback guide 200 pesos per person. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone seeking a unique and beautiful way to see the countryside!

Ready for an adventure!! - The experience was amazing! From the beginning Beth took care of us. She has a passion for what she does and takes care of the local communities. She was a joy to hang out with, and educated us about the horse riding, the lunch and the hot springs. Also the lunch was authentic Mexican food cooked onsite of the ranch. We are so lucky to have done this on our 25th anniversary, it was truly a blessing and one of the most memorable experiences ever!!
