Great dive spot including a cave!! Location has a lot to do for free. - What a great experience and value!! We had to find our way there on our own. About $5/person each way in cab. The location is a large area that has free shows, botanical gardens, restaurants, bars, beach chairs with umbrellas and much more. Our tour included some on land instruction then about and hour dive including THROUGH A CAVE!!! The guides were always right there checking on us and showing us so many cool things like conch and shrimps to hold. They also take pictures during and you can buy them. After the dive they give you a free drink and it also includes free tequila tasting!! You could spend a whole day just at this location. I don’t know what it cost to just get into the park area, but I would recommend bringing friends or family that are not diving with you and they can enjoy the area while you are diving. Highly recommend Juan and his team!!

Highly Recommend! - I booked this tour with MJs Dive shop for our recent cruise stop in Cozumel. I am a certified diver, but it has been a few years since I have dove, so I wanted to knock off the rust. I also wanted my 14 year old daughter and my wife to experience diving. I highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to experience diving for the first time in a very safe and enjoyable manner. The dive master gave a very thorough safety and instructional briefing. My wife and and daughter were both pretty nervous, but once we got in the water, the instructors spent some time in the shallow area to get everyone comfortable. We had 3 instructors/assistants with our group of 8. One member of our group started to panic in the shallow area, and they worked with him to the point where he announced what a great time he had after the dive. My wife was having trouble submerging, and they worked with her and got her squared away. My daughter was having trouble popping her ears to equalize the pressure, same thing an assistant stayed with her and worked through it under water. We went down to a depth of 25 feet on a beautiful reef. We saw a ray, numerous fish and a lobster. The dive was about 35 minutes long, and everyone loved it. I cannot emphasize enough how terrific the staff was working new divers and allowing everyone a safe and enjoyable experience. The final verdict, my wife was glad she tried it but probably wouldn't pursue it any further, and my 14 year old really wants to get certified. Chankanaab is a wonderful place to spend the day after the dive.

10/10 Recommend - We booked our scuba experience for the 2nd time with this company. This time, we planned ahead. It included entrance to the park, free tours, free snorkeling, free lockers, and a free drink afterwards. The crew went through the training and made sure the family's equipment functions properly. Two divers and a photographer went out with our group of 7. We had two new divers in our group - one was a little panicked but they took great care with her. The pics turned out fun and cost $10 per pic or $60 for all of them digitally. It's a short, easy dive with a couple of statues to see. Highly recommend for beginners.

Incredible experience - 1000 out of 10 would recommend the entire experience was flawless from start to finish guides were knowledgeable, informative patient and kind as the children 14 and 16 had never scuba dive before any fears were calmed. The experience was absolutely incredible one had an issue with their mask she was never left alone. Best experience of their lives they said as for the adults truly an amazing experience if you’ve always wanted to scuba dive. This is a perfect opportunity afterwards you’re given a free drink and access to all the activities sea lion show the beach, snorkeling walking through ruins, absolute incredible worth every penny.

Great introduction to Scuba. - Juan was excellent teacher and very patient. It was first time for a few of the family and it was a great introduction. There was a good bit to see and a few statues. Great experience and ask for Edgar the waiter and he will take care of all food drinks for you. He was the BEST!!

Awesome excursion - It was amazing to see a whole new world in the ocean. Juan is an outstanding guide. Well worth it! Even the photographer that goes with you takes some awesome memorable photos.

Scuba Diving in Cozumel! - This was so much fun! I was nervous about the whole thing and Luis was a great and patient instructor. Overall may thanks to Luis for an excellent experience!

One cannot discover new oceans unless he has courage to lose sight of the shoreline. - I highly recommend Luis to anyone seeking to scuba dive. His patience and understanding create a comfortable learning environment where you are allowed to progress at your own pace. Ensuring you get the most out of your dive while making it an experience you'll never forget. He is truly the best, thanks a million for the experience of a lifetime Luis!!!

never done this before! - super friendly! super fun & & educational. it was my 1st time doing scuba & my instructor Enrique was phenomenal. very clean beach, equipment, bathroom and bar! so so fun. you'll need a taxi from Port but $15ish one way.

Disappointed to say the least - The underwater experience was beautiful. Lots of fish and aquatic life surrounding an always beautiful reef system. Our dive master Louis was very good and making sure everyone was feeling comfortable and he showed a lot of genuine concern, however this came with a cost. He took in a couple with NO experience and remained with one diver who had an extremely difficult time staying under the water. The photographer assisted by trying to point out wildlife and points of interest while we waited for Louis to continue to help her stay below the surface. The dive lasted about 50 minutes with over half sitting on the bottom waiting for this diver with anxiety. Understand that I appreciate what he did for her, however we paid for a dive experience ourselves and this couple should have taken alone. We dived the statues and the cave with the photographer using a GoPro camera and setting up some awesome shots with fish, lobsters and rays along the reef. It was making up for the lack of a dive master until we found out after the dive that the entire experience was not recorded due to an error with the memory card. We walked away with nothing because I trusted them and did not take my camera along. We looked forward to showing this to our family and friends, unfortunately not now.
